Panning Gold from High Bench

Testing again a high bench that I tryed last year. It is just to much to pass it by any more. Highway cut into the mountain side and left a beautiful looking High bench. Also I look out over this old placer mine site that you can see from the road next to that bench.

Hey Baht, Good too see another video from you man... Looks like a nice area, I have always liked Eastern Washington.. You know gold is where you find it and you don't know til you try.

Not yet. Took trip to chinook last year but spend most time in yellowjacket. Mcoy creek area. Just puttering nothing serious. I hope to get to hwy 97 this year. I enjoy your vid.

Lived in Eburg and Yakima for years and kept saying, "boy that looks like the Yakima River" even before you mentioned it. I was not aware this was an area in which you panned. Later I saw you doing some work on
the Naches.

nice vid and you have a beautiful daughter worth her weight in gold. really that looked more like glacial till to me. you would have gotten more gold if it were a ancient river channel. try going up to were swauk creek joins the yakima. youl see a real ancient channel on north side of highway. good luck. its only 10 ft thick.
