My Maine Coon just turned 2. He never meowed. All of a sudden he gives out this cute little meow. I am such a proud mommy.

I have a Norwegian forest cat.
I have 2 norwegian/siberian fc mix and a maine coon. My maine coon also never meows. I heard it's common for them. Instead she makes noices that almost sounds like barking 😅
I love how they're huge but they mew like kittens.

I've heard main coons are rather quiet cats and their mows are described as a bird-like chirp and sound surprisingly Small for a large cat
Main coon cats are very vocal and they are almost talking with their meows

Sweetness! My Maine Coon passed away from a heart defect four years ago. His adult meow was very unusual - extremely loud and more like a cry than a meow. I miss him terribly. Thank you for this video of your lovely kitties.

I am sorry for your loss.
I had main coon kitty for almost 8 years. She died due to kidney failure. It´s almost 5 years and i still miss her terribly. Her meow was gentle, soft, warming. These things you simply cannot forget.
@@Mithrandir1983 same here , went from happy cat to the final verdict in 2 weeks . Such a hard disease to track in time .

When our black MC male Buddy wants feeding he will come into the kitchen and sit pointing at the sink and wait. He is so polite and such a gentleman. They certainly are handsome animals. Found another dead mouse in the hallway near wifes office. He is also a very successful hunter. He was returned to the shelter twice and is such an adorable cat. We have had him for a couple of years now and he is no longer freaked out by everything. He has mellowed considerable and as long as he gets his time outside he is quite pleasant. Curiously he stays in either the front or backyard. He can easily get under the fences but he stays all on his own. That is odd behavior for a cat, they like to wander. He is not fond of rain, snow, or cold and will come when called. Why did I not know about these wonderful cats long ago?

Your babies are absolutely adorable it's hard to believe he was once that little now he's a little bit bigger for time flies by doesn't it one minute you're holding them in your arms cuz they're so tiny and in the next minute they're running around the house wild you take care of dear and God bless oh when I do get my kitten I'm going to name her Luna I just wanted you to know thank you so much for letting me use that name and God bless
