We had a bus trip from Ontario to the Farm Progress Show last year and we visited the FS Growmark facility in Mapleton where they bring much of their fertilizer for the Midwest in on barges. Also a river barge grain export terminal. Very interesting!
I know it's not near time for the combined yet but I wish you all the best of luck with that combine I've heard a lot of horror stories about that machine good luck guys
Good job guys, bonus Brian, 2 videos with the grape ape in em👍🏻you almost had me with the title to the video, thought the ole 84 was history…whew! Y’all take care🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
In Manitoba we can use dyed diesel in on road farm trucks. I was caught with dyed diesel in my farm pickup in Minnesota and received a $1000 fine. I ignored the reminders in the mail and after 4-5 years the state of Minnesota gave up.
We had a local guy going to town on the interstate in his diesel pickup. He was low on fuel and had a tank in the back yep pulled onto the breakdownl lane and was filling it up when DOT pulled up behind him. RED FUEL BIG FINE. A guy might be a little less obvious 😅😅
I was at a farm auction and dot showed up and started dipping tanks and towing trucks and writing tickets as people were trying to leave the auction..... Never seen anything like that before or since
I got dipped hauling grain in they weren’t concerned that the tires were half flat with my weight just if you had red fuel in the tank. Several years ago and in fall at 4 am
Back when flea markets were big, Washington Courthouse had one of the biggest around, once a month. Went with my parents many times to the fairgrounds in search of 'stuff'...this was pre-internet and EBay/Facebook has taken most of the impetus out of spending a day looking for things you cannot find anywhere else.
Thanks for another great video Brian. It was interesting and enjoyable. You mentioned the different fuel to use on the farm and having fuel that goes off the farm. You hit that on the nose. Here in Iowa they check farmers quite often. Big big big fine if you are using farm gas on the road. Not worth the risk. Watch out for the red dye in the gas you use. Taxes on gas in Iowa are high. Sorry dad’s tractor is over at the other farmstead now. Really liked that tractor. Guess you need it over there for projects you said. Beautiful tractor yet. Keep that one. Sounds like you are about ready to hit the field work hard. Your busy tractor time is coming up it sounds like. Getting ready to go with all the equipment. Your dad mentioned beavers building dams. They are really good at that. Knock one down and in a couple of days they are back at it. Terrible to deal with them. Destructive animals. I will spread the word on your camper. Someone might be interested. Nice unit. Thanks for everything Brian. You all take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
I like a product called fresh cab I get it at either the one mill then I deal with or a couple of the machinery dealers I deal with it really works well I think it makes good air freshener in the pickup cab too
Hwy 54 W Oklahoma. Case of transmission fluid in side box saved my A--. Officer thought I was running Offroad diesel, opened the side box, 2 qts per tank. He wasn't enthused. Fine started at shutting down the truck and $10k to company , they pulled a sample , they came back pissed off, get outta here. Knock it off. Yes sir.
Just for information, we are not allowed to use tripple P overhere in the netherlands for several years now, i mean what about a level playfield in the ag world, thanks Brian greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
I haul petroleum when our drivers got in a hurry, and when he carded in at the loading rack, he hit all and done on diesel fuel, and what that did is it put red dye and all the compartments this was on a Christmas he took it to a truckstop of horse, Cave Kentucky And put it in their tanks. He didn’t notice the terminal people didn’t catch it because you have to put in the location of where you’re going. They didn’t catch it until Tuesday and I think Christmas was on Michael Saturday. There is no telling how many trucks one red dead diesel in their trucks over the Christmas vacationbecause by the time they got there the fuel what’s gone it was had a delivery after that on Monday. It’s one of them deals with the government and the loading racks and the trucking company swap under the rug.
If they didn't clean out the storage tank after that, they were probably dispensing fuel that would have gotten the truckers in trouble for a few fills of the storage tank.
Lawn?....Lawn?.....on one side a 100 yard range, in the corner a backstop with a moveable mound, on the other side a combo go cart/motocross track with a deer blind at the far end.....
I put red fuel in the Fire Trucks and Ambulances had to take the ambulance to the Ford Dealer for repair they said I was breaking the law running red fuel in the ambulance I advised them it was Exempt they did not believe me and call the feds on me and the FEDs told them the same thing.
That’s interesting about all the new spreaders you saw. I live by the Deere factory in Ankeny Iowa where they make those spreaders and sprayers. This winter they had hundreds of them sitting outside waiting to get shipped out. They have been very busy there the past few years. Sadly I think the party is over now and they will probably be slowing down and laying people off soon.
Not been any shortage of wind so far in March. The fuel regulations are frustrating to say the least...just another government ploy to get more money to waste.
glad you farmers can have that cheap fuel and run your trucks on the road Tax free us truck Drivers DONT get those breaks so dont touch the ones that watch you about fuel

Thought you sold the 8400 and i was going to be mad, but it just left the actual building.
Yeah I thought the same thing
Me too!
I watched again to make sure. 😆
Here in Alberta Canada farmers can run red gas or diesel in all trucks and even SUV’s as long as they are eligible and have Farm License Plates.
Fuck yeah they can
State they get excited if you drive your farm tractor on highway😂😂
But with Trudeaus carbon tax your still paying more then a 1 dollar more then what the USA pays for clear fuel
Here in the Netherlands we can't even put red diesel in our tractors anymore (since 2013?).
All across Canada if it is a registered farm vehicle.
right on keep-em comin.

Brian put the sticky pads with bait in the center. You will catch ALL the mice in that cab. I’ve heard moth balls keep them out too.
Bounce sheets and/or cinnamon works also.
Good video.
Hang in there 14:03 Brother Brian. You got this. Keep er movin 😏❤️🇺🇸🖖🏼
Have you noticed that you need more Sulfur every year since diesel went to Low Sulfur product? Jw. Great video!
Yes
Try mixing oats or barley with the grass seed, seems to make it grow better.
If and when you buy a really big tractor new, would you consider a new Big Bud since all CAT components and parts easily available ?
Probably not. Cat isn’t any easier that any other company to work on and I don’t need a 750 hp tractor yet
Good thing you run clear diesel in the truck you can get caught I’ve been stopped and had my tanks dipped before
Yeahah, everfringteng goneagood soooofare for nowel. Weill lettte youalll knowwmore letter. Thanks Bob.
Brian you should have used a aerator on your lawn before laying down any seed or fertilizer
I was thinking an inline ripper
Hey Brian, where’s the gps fitted to that lawn planter?? 😂😂
We call them spinners
Really nice looking pooch helping with the lawn.
howdo you keep the birds out of your fertilizer shed? I don't see any bird droppings, just shopping for a good idea to keep birds out!
I was at a farm auction and dot showed up and started dipping tanks and towing trucks and writing tickets as people were trying to leave the auction..... Never seen anything like that before or since
I seen them do that at a cattle market before! Needless to say, they busted a-lot of people! Dirty bastards
I got dipped hauling grain in they weren’t concerned that the tires were half flat with my weight just if you had red fuel in the tank. Several years ago and in fall at 4 am
Have you showed us the counter tops all done on the house I see you have them on ?
I got tested at the Grass Lake Mi scales once in the 90's, Feds did it.
Great choice of music Brian

Thanks for the video!

Hey dud you better go slowly with that seder planter 😂😂
Spring is almost here.
Mornin!
Sunday pushing their product hard! Even Vice Grip Garage pedaling it. Lol
As someone who does it professionally, it makes me cringe lol.
off to were is worked back in 1980
The fine was $1000/gallon if you put off-road in a truck
Where do you get your Lime
It'S good that the tractor works some times .
Do all the mice com with the motorhome ..😅
Crazy how you guys are putting phophous on and iam trying to get rid of it got levels over 500 👍👍
Why are you AMS if you need to spread lime AMS helps ground turn acidic. Every 1 pound of AMS needs three pounds of lime to correct acidity.
Also need sulfur in the some spots. Like I said it is variable rate so it may not be in the same parts of the field. We have some zones with higher ph
@BriansFarmingVideos All good Brian thank you for answering btw you have a nice operation.
great video
👍👍👍👍
Alberta you can run dyed fuel in anything on the farm , kinda silly you guys can't run dyed for farm use on highway.
U can’t in ontario either lol must be perks from making it
Brian you tricked us! Don’t you EVER sell that 8400!!!!
13:49 Brian Brown or Doc Brown ? 😊
I heard 10 grand in fines in Wyoming, I never did it for fear of getting caught. 😊
Put bounce dryer sheets into your trucks to keep mice out
And Irish spring soap bars do the truck aswell
I like a product called fresh cab I get it at either the one mill then I deal with or a couple of the machinery dealers I deal with it really works well I think it makes good air freshener in the pickup cab too
Why wouldn’t you spread the whole 140ton of lime at once instead of split? One application is better than two?
Only so much lime can break down and be effective in a year
@@BriansFarmingVideoswhere would the lime go? It’s not like it’s N?
Mouse, running across my arm, I might have soiled my drawers. Geez
140 tons over 2 years? oof. Is there something goofy with that ground or did it was it a upkeep issue maybe?
That's bugger all on a 150 acre field though.
Don’t like the ads. But ff works good
I drove feed truck back in a day and had one run across my arm and by the time I got done that day to heater motor got him karma's a b****

Messing with fire will get you burned eventually 😢😢

Nice ol’ Jeep😊
Youll regret not unloading thru a conveyor when you get rocks in the mix from your tires.
Been doing it for years
Won't make a difference using a spreader to apply
Glad to hear BJ is working on the stripper. I seen you smile when you said that. LOL
THANK'S Brain For BoB CAM very Inertesting View OF Farmer Feed ! 😆
Small amount of peanut butter on wax block mouse bait...guaranteed to get that sucker in your truck.

Don’t know why but I can’t understand your dad on any video. Course I’m older than dirt but have to fast forward his portion.
Do you take the white dump truck out much will it even start?
Hauls gravel often
@BriansFarmingVideos just wondering cause of the mouse in the purple freightliner lol 😆
Sadly mice are attracted by human farts. Stop farting in the trucks and your mouse problem will disappear like a fart in the wind. 😂

In fast speed it looked like you ran over a few cars lol 😂
Was your hairdo at the end from the wind or the mouse?
