Christmas will soon be upon us. It's unbelievable how fast this year has gone. Are you all looking forward to the holiday break?
In today's video we breakdown an old school voltage transformer.
I didn't go as I had hoped but none the less we were able to see how this piece of technology was constructed and reflected a more simpler time.

Very fiddly piece to scrap, shame you couldn't use it. Been struggling to get much done lately. Got blood test results, and doctor says I have long covid, which explains why after 2 months I'm still feeling a bit crap. I am hoping to do a scrap run tomorrow. Have a great weekend. 👍

@@MicroScraprMike Thanks Mike. Yes I managed my scrap run, nothing exciting, mostly HMS @ $0.30/Kg, Couple of Alloy rims @ $2.50/Kg, and some Batteries @ $0.45/Kg. Collecting more HMS and yesterday picked up a solar hot water system tank and aluminium panel, and some copper pipe. Have to clean it all up. The tank is stainless, great !!. Hope you are doing well.
@@afineliner740 I am very well! Still great prices, except for the batteries. We have nearly the same disastrous price for them too. Almost not worth collecting lead acid and AGM batteries anymore. That stainless steel tank might be worth a bit? Can't go wrong with any form of copper really.

Hi Krystian. Thank you for asking. I have collected so much scrap these last couple of months that I haven't had the time to record much as I have been taking it all to pieces. There will be a new video up shortly.

@@krystiankucharski7299 They are from plasma screens tv's. They connect to the screen from a peripheral board.
