Actually you're only getting brainwashed if you're not too smart to fall for that stuff and breaking the whole system with ease (cause they do several mistakes). Bad behaviour always changes society over time, so there is no way you can actually fully hide stuff and even with these few videos you can already say that it can't be cause there is no hate or sorrow in the eyes of these people (smiling won't hide such things).

@@clearmindpan4118 But this "minority party" in China, is not in a minority area, village or community, it's put on for show on some huge, concrete square. The cultural genocide in the US is a couple of hundred years old, no doubt. But China has been destroying mosques and shrines in Xinjiang in the last couple of decades and for several decades in Tibet. China had an actual cultural revolution. This tolerance and show casing of minorities is a relatively new thing. And it doesn't look authentic.

I'm from UK, love to visit China. Problem is the visa+embassy fees is just over £200 per person, so family of 4 that's £800 for the visa, too expensive for us. The only visa they offer is 2 years unlimited entries, this is good for people that has family or business there, but as tourists we only require 1 entry and price should be more affordable. People need to visit to see the real China, so China should encourage this too, but China making it difficult, esp for British people for tourism.

LOL, Media 有意思, I like your Chinese accent--a fusion of Guoyu and Guizhou. 3 things: 1) As a Yi (彝) tribe, I can attest to the fact that China has always been good to the minority. In fact, they treat minorities better than the main Han. In the past, minority religions were protected while the Han were not allowed to have religion. 2) CNN, BBC, and everyone in the western media should get a free ticket to visit China, funded by Jason's empty pocket! It's not that they are wrong intentionally, but they are living in the past because, in the past, China's media had told too many lies. Now the roles have reversed. CCTV and CGTN (and Media 有意思) have a lot of work to do to redeem their past sins. 3) Of course, seeing is believing. My jaw dropped each time I visited China. In the past, we had to buy a lot of gifts to give to our poor relatives in China. Nowadays, they can treat us better than we can afford to treat them. For example, they treat us in restaurants in the private dining room with a private bathroom. If they come to visit us in the U.S., I can only take them to Burger King! LOL! Keep up with your entertaining reporting, Media 有意思!

People are extremely friendly, smart, very resourceful despite decades of brutal sanctions and very kind. The best way to know a country is to see it yourself. I think there are many reasons. First of all, the West believes that China is a country ruled by the Communist Party, that is, the so-called communist country. However, they did not realize that the cold war was over long ago, and the Western policies were not adjusted. Instead, they continued the cold war way of thinking and vilified countries with different regimes. Another reason is that the rise of China has affected the global interests of western countries, especially the United States, so the United States wants to do everything possible to curb China's development. However, the West has not realized that in the thousands of years of human history, China, as a continental superpower, has always been ahead of the world, but has lost its advantage in the past 200 years, because of the arrogance of the Chinese emperor and the blockade of his own country. What I want to say is that the 200 years is only a short time for thousands of years of human civilization. Fortunately, China now realizes the mistakes they have made and is striving to return to their original position. So there is no need for the west to be surprised or nervous because this is not an unexpected event. China has always been the first in the world before. Some people think that China should be backward and stupid. This is a prejudice that has emerged in the past 200 years. With such a large territory and population, there is no reason why their country should not become a developed country, and there is no reason why their economy should not become the first in the world. This is inevitable. Historically, even when China was the strongest country in the world, they did not colonize other countries, which is a good thing for the world. Therefore, in the face of China's resurgence, the West should keep a normal attitude, abandon the ideological prejudice of the cold war, keep peace, and conduct trade and healthy competition together, Let human civilization and science and technology develop together is the right way.

@@df9440 Well, in my opinion, the basic right a citizen should enjoy is safety and security which is clearly improved in China, and is currently declining in western countries.
Regarding freedom of speech, this issue is more or less everywhere. Also, I would say that westerners do not truly have the freedom to connect with the right information.
There are of course many things that still need to be improved in China, as everywhere else. But I don’t think there’s this need of bashing this country for decades now.

That wasn't true in China for decades after the revolution. I was in China in the late 80s, in Xinjiang and Tibet. Protests in Lhasa were brutally struck down. People talked about having been in prison and tortured. Now, in the last 2 to 3 decades things have changed. But the Chinese Government wasn't always benevolent throughout history towards minorities. In Tibet Ganden Monastery was bombed from the air. Many cultural and religious sites were destroyed or were converted during the cultural revolution. Not only in Tibet.

I'm Chinese Vietnamese living in US. So my question is why Vietnamese hate Chinese or China. Why the Vietnamese not appreciate China help to fight US invasion of Vietnam?
Vietnamese are so ungrateful.. They turn to the Soviet Union for protection with treaty. But the Soviet Union never come to help Vietnam when China cross into Vietnam to force Vietnam to leave Cambodia. Anyways.
