Have you ever wished you hadn't got out of bed....... I did on this day !!!
It was a real shame, as the weather was lovely, but I pressed something on my DJI Osmo Action 4, which enabled slow motion recording. In slow motion mode, audio isn't recorded, so I couldn't speed up in editing. I suppose I could have just added music, but as you know, that isn't how we do things here.
So, instead of putting out, what I had intended to put out, you have to endure me chatting and explaining what went wrong, whilst sitting next to Scorpio, my Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, in the log/lambing shed of the farm we are staying at just now.
On the ride, I managed to get the DJI Neo drone up in the air, so I have added footage of that, with some music.
As you can hear, the audio from my voice is muffled.......I couldn't believe it when I listened back. I had attached the mic mini on my jumper, which was under a padded gillet and jacket, because it was very cold in the shed. Then I forgot to increase the recording volume in editing......aarrgghhh !!!
It won't be long until we get back to normal, with decent internet, so hopefully we can get back on track with at least one video a week. Roll on those warm dry days !!!
To upload this, I have driven the van to the nearest village with half decent 4G connection, using my phone as a hotspot. It still took one and a half hours to upload.....the things we do ehh !!!

Thanks Mike…you know me, I try to get my content as near perfect as funds will allow……unfortunately this wasn’t one of the good days 🫣😂 Even messed up the editing 🙄🤣, still at least the drone looked half decent, even though it was struggling in the windy conditions up there.

Morning Ian, that's life😂, but look on the bright side, you got out, more than I've managed, and the drone footage was good, although as you say, the little Nemo isn't a fan of the wind, ....... Colin 😊
Thanks Colin, I was rather annoyed, as the chat was really good….but now, I can’t remember what I talked about 🙄 for next time. I was actually surprised the drone footage came out so well, the built in gimble did a brilliant job of keeping the footage level, as the Neo was at a fair old angle trying to battle the wind. Cheers
Yep, we've all had days like that Ian , but must say I'm liking the new location of your broadcasting studio , as close to nature as you can get , brilliant, and appreciate your effort in still getting a video out for us all!

Looking well Ian, despite things not quite going to plan a nice video, and the main thing is you are safe, just goes to show how easy it is to get caught out with black ice.

Well, it might have been one of those days, black ice an all, but main thing is, no damage to you or the bike 👍 Gave mine a bit of a wash this morning, mainly dusty, then a short battery charging ride to blow the cobwebs away. Every time I stop and look at the Guerrilla, I can't get over what a darned good looking beast it is ...... especially in the Playa Black!! Stay safe Ian, catch you later, Phil (Somerset)
Thanks Phil, better to be safe than sorry. Fans of other makes, can take the p*** all they like, but as a value, fun bike, the Guerrilla ticks all the boxes. Love mine 😎, and so looking forward to getting out on dry roads, with some warm sun on my back. Cleans up well too. I will be ordering a “gel” (I think) sticker to add some colour to the centre of the tank, which looks great in the pictures I have seen. All the best.

Thank you, it was a bit iffy there for a minute. The jolt, has given me a bit of pain in my already knackered right shoulder, but all will be well. I was a bit tensed up on the return through it though 😂

On one of my rides I'd accidently set the camera to time lapse, my 30min ( I thought ) video took 3mins to run, never seen my 350 go so fast. Still as they say there's always tomorrow!

Yes, always tomorrow, but don’t you just want to yell oh **** at the top of your voice 🙄, especially when you were happy with the chat 🤬😂 We have done the Hirnant Pass in a car, from Vyrnwy to Bala, but really want to do it this way. Still can’t do Hell fire from Vyrnwy due to the trees blocking the road, so that will have to be next year now. Cheers

Wow that was really dodgy mate , glad all was well in the end , I was going to bob out Thursday but got up to ice and frost all over here , shame because the sun was out but didn't think it was worth the risk , great vid bud these things happen 😕

@@ianhughesroyalenfield Hi Ian, it is a bike i have wanted for a while i phoned Jim up on the of chance, and he had one left in the colour i wanted red and white and sold it at the right price its the Scram 411 brand new pre reg on the road delivered for three seven.

Hi Ian, please stay safe when ice is about and don't worry about not being able to be out filming. Can I help you feel less stressed by tech by telling my tale of woe? On a trip of a lifetime, I missed a few video opportunities by pressing the off button instead of the record button. Thank you, yes I have indeed had an invite off Alex, looking forward to it. Yes, the self adhesive button extender was done before first use, as I had used them on the OA3. I won’t be doing a voice over, just not my thing, so that footage will be in the bin I think 😢 Hey ho. 😂

Hi Ian, I see you have removed the reflector from under the rear number plate and fitted 2 stick on ones to the plate. Thinking of doing the same to mine as the securing screw on the reflector bracket is poking a hole into the number plate where it rests across the back of it.
I pretty much did that straight away Jonathan, back end is unnecessarily low as it is 😂 Just need a decent tail tidy to be produced for the Guerrilla, and we will be sorted. I know people have modified the one from the Himi 450, but it just doesn’t look right underneath.
I told you,you were brave a man just riding on those wet muddy roads with snow around Ian where there's snow & cold likely to be black ice.Looks like your tyre's can handle the wet muddy roads but black ice is another thing.Wouldn't see 👀 me riding wet muddy roads like that on a road bike with road tyre's.
Thanks RR…..you actually got a mention in the original video which had no audio 😂….the thing is, I can’t remember why now 🙄. If I didn’t run the risk, I wouldn’t get out for weeks here…..I’d go stir crazy 😳😂
