I had to walk away because she was highly narcissistic and wasn’t putting any energy into the relationship, she was selfish, she was extremely mean when she was triggered and it just never got better no matter how many times we had a conversation about it. I wasn’t allowed to express feelings to her, or I got yelled at. I was basically filling in the role of mommy for her. She wanted to reconcile many times, but without taking any accountability and so I never went back. She’s in another relationship now. I myself learned an insane amount from this relationship and it expedited my growth like nothing else.
