- A clip from Pakistan Television of the late comedian and actor Moin Akhtar (1950-2011) interviewing the great Bangladeshi singer Runa Laila (1952-) and composer Nisar Bazmi (1924-2007). Runa Laila and Nisar Bazmi paired up in the 1960s and 70s to produce some of the memorable songs of the Pakistan film industry, some of the memorable films were Andaleeb, Anjuman and Umrao Jaan Ada.
She is our Queen. Happy that she is still with us. May God gift her a long and healthy life. Thank you Mr.

Good commentary, traditionally good wording without letting down anyone of both great singers. It is heartening to know that whenever Runa Laila came to Pakistan, she had been invited by Noorjehan on dinners. On the other hand, when Runa went to India, Lata warned music directors not to give Runa songs in India.

Abdul Durrani Sahab, I had been abroad for long time. There I always saw the Bangladeshis polite and innocent but Pskistani Punjabies always misbehaved them. I can emagine how our politicians would be behaving the Bangladeshis same way in past. I always hate the misbehavors and sympathise the Bangladeshis.
