As we conclude our series “Barriers to Belief,” Dr. Greg Beutel highlights a critically important reason non-Christians remain non-Christians: We as believers aren’t willing to tell them the Good News of salvation! Why? We frequently excuse ourselves for fear of social awkwardness and remain silent, or are so caught up in our own lives that we're indifferent, or are just simply unwilling to share. And the result? Over recent decades, where the vast majority of people in the US have traditionally identified themselves as Christian, the numbers who now call themselves Christians has declined to only about 40%. These attitudes among Christians has created a huge barrier to non-Christians coming to belief!
