I'm off to the Alps on my honda super cub in late August for a 22 day camping trip. You'll have far more fun than on a big adv bike. Stay on the back roads and love your ride.
We even call 180s mopeds a scooter is a lammy or Vespa where I’m from, I spent years working at a bike shop specialising in selling L plate bikes and repairing them
Yes , very wise move ! I have been riding bikes since I was 17 (* 1969 ) , and still enjoying it now I’m 72 yrs.old …I m loving my Honda 125 cc “ SuperCub “ which is only 3years old , and I still feel it gives me the fresh air buzz I need in my Life time 🎉
Great vlog, man. Showing everyone you can get out there on a budget. And the brilliant thing about a Lexmoto designed to look vintage is that in a few months of doing that it'll look & feel properly vintage. 😅
3 weeks ago I was diagnosed with cancer, thankfully a curable type, now I'm laying on the sofa day after day watching 125cc scooter reviews and nowt much else! You grabbed a bargain for £750, an AJS Modena I believe. Anyway, in the new year I'll be scootering it around Europe. Can't wait for the adventure.
Ive been riding one of these for 2 years and so far its been pretty good. Its actually super comfy to ride aswell. Theyre definitely not built for speed but it can still make you smile and chuckle
Fully sick! Bought myself a moped at the start of the year sadly only kept her for around four months (car drivers in NZ not the best but huge smile every time I rode it) enjoy 👍
By definition, a moped has a motor and pedals - a cross between a bicycle and a powered bike. This is a small scooter, not a moped. Other than that, I totally agree that little scooters like this can be great fun.
Don’t let people judge you they have probably never road a bike in there life and have nothing better to do than slate people behind a phone or computer
Real riders like ourselves simply don't hate on TH-camrs. I done my first enduro day last week in Wales, and there's so many different levels of experience and not one person mocks anyone that's struggling. It's amazing.
I had the opportunity to buy any bike I wanted recently (I'm 56) and bought an Aprilia moped. Friends don't get it but my grandad bought me a Tomos moped from Woolworths for my 14th birthday after picking up an obsession on Spanish holidays. My school friends actually did laugh from the bus stop. I've had a lot of bikes and I made the right choice 😊
Love your attitude. Love the views. Love the run what you brung philosophy. I’m Wishing the roads were this empty in California. Midnight is a good time to ride around here
It’s a scooter not a moped 😂 I bought a rev and go Vespa 125 almost 3 years ago just to get it back on the road and flip for profit… I’ve still got it and used it for work every day this week so much better squeezing through traffic not having to think about clutch or gears does 80mph and got loads of storage. Also not bad spending a day down lanes like these in the Peak District £6 of fuel lasts all day!
You never have as much fun on a motorbike as the first one you ever owned. That is usually when you were young, and it is a small engined crap bike. Returning to said crap bike often revives that initial feeling. All you need is two wheels and an engine!
I like riding green lanes on my Honda CT125 for the simplicity and catching views like you did. With a top box i get to carry tea, biscuits and sandwiches making a day out very civilised.
Just came across this and have no idea who or what you do but let me say the bike and the journey is all relevant to the individual and how they perceive what they are doing .
Take the side cover off and change the belt variator rollers and exhaust. Maybe even the torque spring on the rear axel scooters can be fun fast two when you tinker with them
Definitely go on a long trip, but make bring a mate. I did a cross country road trip on a 125 with a mate on a 200 and it was still the best road trip Ive ever done
I have a bmw s1000xr, and a month ago i bought a 125cc lambretta (it’s a new one, so not really a lambretta). It’s my favourite toy. Impossible to be miserable when all you do is full throttle everywhere.
I owed one of these amazing scooters in the same colour. The Lexmoto Milano is quick and reliable. I use to ride around Ormskirk and go out towards Crawford Village and Rainford. Mine was a 125cc. I regret selling it. They don't make them anymore. The same design as the Lexmoto Milano is the AJS Modena. I think they're made in the same Chinese factory?
I've had many a great adventure on a scooter in South East Asia on all sorts of terrain. It's a fun pillion machine too. Had this image of that ferret suddenly jumping out on the ditch into your face for some reason, bit of a ferritist negative bias I've been given I suppose.
So as I'm still watching, is this really a 50cc moped, I think I just heard you say 125. A 125 is not a moped. Moped is an AM licence, a 125 needs at least an A1. My Honda SH125i actually often does 70 mph. Moped is max 30 mph. If you can, avoid getting an actual 50 cc moped as you will just be at greater risk.
I love scooters. I own one. Very useful to carry stuff. Downside: my Suzuki is difficult to find parts for. The little tires get swallowed up by potholes (we have a lot). I bought it for my wife but it is so wide it is difficult for her to get on and off. All the plastic makes it a pain to work on. My XR250 is much better on bad roads.
Love all the comments correcting you for calling it a moped, which it's not, but then the commentors are also wrong anyway. It's not a moped, the reason being that mopeds have pedals. Literally motor + pedals = moped. Nor are they a scooter, that is the common usage name for them, but a scooter they're not. They are correctly classified as a "step through" or "Ubone" motorcycle. So whenever someone slags you off claiming you're not a real biker, you can smugly correct them.
who ever says you suck tell them to send in his vid of riding better then you if they cant tell them to suck it I had a Baja motorsports sc 50 scooter for 5 years rode that thing in the ground still worked till I sold it
Well you seemed to be having a lot of fun, but it’s not quite a moped as they’re up to 50cc - now doing all that on a nifty fifty would be worth a watch 😂
I’m acc sad this isn’t me rn.. I spent £700 on a ped the guy said nothing was wrong with it then turns out the engine is fucked n now I needa save for a new one as repairs r gunna cost more than I bought it for
I think we need to see you go two up with that thing, be it a date or one of your mates, seeing you go two up on a little trip to town or up a little trail like this I'm sure would be hysterical Edit: Or if you could convince your mate to get one you guys could race them around and I'm sure that would be super fun
Why you listening to wannabe idiots that probably don’t even on a bike probably don’t have a life either you just keep doing what ya doing brilliant content that people can actually watch
I got a Yamaha Vino 125 for pretty cheap off the stepson. I thought it was a waste of money but no matter what I end up on dirt. I was amazed what fun it was offroad, you have to pick nothing but minty lines but it can do a lot. I always get weird looks when I zoom out and people see it is a moped coming out. They are fun for wheelies, just give it some front brake then lean back you can do slow wheelies, the rear handbrake will become your best friend. Also they are awesome for munchie runs, they can fit so much under the seat and what doesnt fit there goes between the feet. th-cam.com/video/wSydfl7RW1k/w-d-xo.html
So it's not a moped then? Mopeds by law are 50cc. Yes people have gone all over the world on small bikes it's nothing new. If you plan the journey to avoid motorways and the faster roads it can be quite pleasant and you get more time to take in the scenery and they can be economic to run.
Hey, i know Im kinda late for the giveaway.. but ill just leave a comment. So I’m a 16 year old from Norway and I have just gotten my drivers license for moped 50cc and I can’t really afford a bike yet. So I won’t be able to drive in like 3 months because my job isn’t well paid. So I kinda need a bike, but anyways really good video!👍🏼
I bought a 125 Peugeot Django last year so I don't have to ride my Harley to work. I love it, makes me giggle when I ride it.
We need off-road tires and a enduro tour with the boys!
Have you seen the lads out on C90’s doing the trails - Class 👌
i’ve got one of those there great fun
I'm off to the Alps on my honda super cub in late August for a 22 day camping trip. You'll have far more fun than on a big adv bike. Stay on the back roads and love your ride.
I’d love to do that on my Suzuki van van 200 🤔
Its a 125 Scooter not a Moped. A Moped is classified as a motorized bicycle with a capacity of less than 50cc and pedal assisted.
We even call 180s mopeds a scooter is a lammy or Vespa where I’m from, I spent years working at a bike shop specialising in selling L plate bikes and repairing them
@joski9030 do you call A2 bikes mopeds, too? 😅
There’s plenty of people riding bikes over 33 bhp on L plates , I call A2 girls bikes 😂
Cool story bro! Ya boring twat
finally someone who understands. Clue is in the name Mo Ped. Motor and pedals
I've been riding my little scooter for 2 years I love going on random ride outs, top video peace 😊
Yes , very wise move ! I have been riding bikes since I was 17 (* 1969 ) , and still enjoying it now I’m 72 yrs.old …I m loving my Honda 125 cc “ SuperCub “ which is only 3years old , and I still feel it gives me the fresh air buzz I need in my Life time 🎉
Someone managed to finish the dakar in the 80s on a vespa px200, and vespacross is pretty big in italy!
I would definitely watch a long road trip
Love it, funny as. Get all the boys ripping on some trails with them 😜🤙
I love the fact this come from a comment telling you to give up, F the haters, this is brilliant 😂
Great vlog, man. Showing everyone you can get out there on a budget. And the brilliant thing about a Lexmoto designed to look vintage is that in a few months of doing that it'll look & feel properly vintage.
😅
I’m excited. Do something crazy!!!

Tune the variator weights and you'll improve that off the line speed.
It's not what you ride but how you enjoy your ride ❤️
By definition, a moped has a motor and pedals - a cross between a bicycle and a powered bike.
This is a small scooter, not a moped.
Other than that, I totally agree that little scooters like this can be great fun.
A scooter is a step through regardless of cc
@@andrewsmyth1641 - I didn't mention cc, or the definition of a scooter.
Don’t let people judge you they have probably never road a bike in there life and have nothing better to do than slate people behind a phone or computer

i think that native english speakers say scooter for a little scooters like e-scooter like a lime rental scooter or something no?
confusing asf...
A long and arduous journey is required with the boys!
You never have as much fun on a motorbike as the first one you ever owned. That is usually when you were young, and it is a small engined crap bike. Returning to said crap bike often revives that initial feeling. All you need is two wheels and an engine!
mine was a 50cc sym, still running 7 years later it has been passed down twice to people in my family for their first cbt bike.
Got to do moped trips with the boys and eventually do public trips 👌💯
1st time on your channel, you certainly loved that little ride out 👍👍
A few lads did Dusk till Dawn on some Cub 90s, absolutely brilliant machines.
Best one to do the shopping on.
Coming from a real Vespa owner, this design is probably the biggest piece of copyright infringement I have ever seen 😂
I like riding green lanes on my Honda CT125 for the simplicity and catching views like you did.

ROAD TRIP!
I have a Yamaha Zuma 50cc two stroke. It’s fun at the track
@4:43 Less likely a Ferret...more likely a Pine Martin
I have a bmw s1000xr, and a month ago i bought a 125cc lambretta (it’s a new one, so not really a lambretta). It’s my favourite toy. Impossible to be miserable when all you do is full throttle everywhere.
NEED SOME MOPED ADVENTURE VIDS FOR SURE AND DO SOME MODS TO IT
I love smaller bikes. Much more fun than the bigger, faster machines.
I'm getting my first bike next month, I want to a moped/scooter. Just curious why is it that smaller bikes are more fun?
Still want you to review a 72v sur ron ino you had standard ect
If you can put good suspension on it and off-road tires. Make it the Enduro moped!😂 Love the vids man!
What to do with it? Enjoy it, loved this chill video of just scootering about and taking in the views
Sounds like a 125 and a moped is 50 cc so that would make it a scooter 😂 love these little bikes
Technically a moped was less than 50cc with pedals, even vespa did one with pedals
@@andrewsmyth1641 your very correct i sorry i got it wrong 😂 1 cc give me a break im simple
Off road it !!!
Oh I commented before completely watching the video !! Of course you off roaded it 😂
Not sure if you know but if you tie rope around the tyre and rim inbetween the spokes like snow chains they go well everywhere including sand
I used to own ZZR 1100 but now I own a little 125 scooter but I love it
Nice bike ride safe ✌️
I've watched Carson Brown send it on his track on a moped! Do extreme Enduro with it!

put on offroad tyres and take it greenlaning and camping

Would love to see u road trip cooking camping mate
I would save up 2.5k and go around London to get a lambretta li 125 or 150, I see lots of vespa primavera's 1970s on facebook

Do hard enduro with it
What could possibly go wrong?
Off-road enduro episode on that thing

Why not combine both a give away with an adventure? Give it away then deliver it but only travelling on B roads to get there
Cool..
my buddy took my one time to ride a bike and the next time we went i had my own
Pitbike adventure next
MidWest Moped
NC 500
I did that recently, stunning .
Like at the end of Quadrophenia, ride it off a cliff.

Forgive me but is this not a scooter ? Not a moped?
A moped is a 50cc, surely?
After not riding for many many years I'm taking the plunge and buying a Honda Forza 350 next year
If theres a kind a bike i despise is the "adventure" bike
My old BMW GS 1100 is great though .
That is not a moped
It's not a moped, they have pedals. It's a scooter.
Not in the UK
If it's over 50cc it's a scooter! Agreed
