Happy Chanukah to you :) Thank you for sharing your family and your special celebration with us !! I wanted you to know my husband and I are praying for Israel, and for the release of the hostages; that they will remain strong in body and spirit. We pray for all those who are mourning too. Much love to you all ~ Linda
I love Hanukkah as well. I celebrate Jewish festivals and holidays even though I am not Jewish. This year I have lit an extra candle for the hostages and the soldiers. Making latkes scares me, I use rösti, but I make a wicked applesauce and we play the dreidel game. I love to see your kids having so much fun! Love from the Netherlands. 🇳🇱❤️🇮🇱🙏🏻🎗️🕊️
Such a great video 🥰🥰 Thank you soooooo much for sharing with us your festival celebrations!! Great food!! Beautiful family!! Cute kids 🥰🥰 Lots n lots of blessings and Best wishes for your beautiful family 🥰🥰 Enjoy ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Completely not related to this video but I applaud you for washing dishes by hand and making most dishes from scratch and just the overall wholesome experience you share here 😍🥰🥲 How do you stay so calm and any advice on keeping a lasting marriage after trauma? ❤ Sonia
Thank you so much 😊 Ya a lot of people say dishwasher changed their life, so maybe yes in our future 🥰 But for now I kind of like dishes, one of the house chores I prefer.. ❤My husband is very keen on giving our kids healthy and nourishing home cooked meals, so I give him credit for that one I would focus on that prob less without him😅 Do you mean personal trauma or shared trauma? I think what can help marriage, is gratitude towards each other never to take for granted finding each other, and with the trauma, faith that this life is designed for us and we are led through it, what happens is part of our unique life path, that brings a lot of strength.
@ thank you for responding! 🙏🏼❤️ Lol I’m full of questions so bear with me 😂 is there anyway you could list some of the songs you used in your videos? I really loved them! Or a link to a nice playlist you like? Shalom 🌟
@@sonia_baker No problem! I love comments so feel free ❤ I use epidemic sound - songs I used - tilling soil, my man, i got love, happy-go-lucky are some of my favs 🌟
A Freilechen Chanukah! I like your orange soup. I wonder how it would taste if you used Hawaj seasoning? We use it in our veggie soup which is a daily staple in our diet! I also drench my boneless chicken in olive oil and add some Hawaj seasoning to the top. I bake 425 until 180 degrees F. The oil keeps it moist and the seasoning tastes very good. I am going to try IYH to make your orange soup next week after we go back to the store. Latkes looked amazing. I hope you're having a happy, amazing Chanukah. All the best, Esther
Thank you Esther! Happy Chanukah!!🥰 Wow absolutely sounds like Hawaij would be awesome! ooo chicken sounds amazing, I think i'm going to buy some Hawaj hehe 💕
What a fun holiday!!! The kids seemed to have a great time! They were so cute wearing their new watches! I love your daughter’s braids! I wish my daughter would let me fix her hair! She hates to have it brushed!!! She also doesn’t like to sit still for a long time. And I’m not that great at fixing hair anyway! Just another benefit of covering my hair!! 😂😂😂 Never have a bad hair day! 😂😂😂😂 I got through the Christmas season! It was good to see my family but I always get sucked into the gift buying frenzy! I hate it! I wish it wasn’t so focused on gifts. Every year I promise myself that I will do something special to focus on G-d and bring Him into the season, especially for my kids. But I get swept away in the huddle and bustle of buying things. 😢 I did ride around and take pictures of the lights for you! I will let you know when I email them! I had a chance to go back to my mom’s house to visit. 3 of my children came with me. It’s been so nice to be with her and just be back in my hometown. It’s a very small and quaint town. It’s like going back in time!! The town has a vibe like it’s stuck in the 1950’s. Have a great rest of your day! And HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 🎉
Thank you so much dear! So glad you got through the Holiday season and sounds like it went well for ya'll!! 🥰 Ya I totally get you with the gift frenzy, hehe Americans seem to be really into buying things, I clicked on a few "what I got my kids for Christmas" and I am shocked at the magnitude😂😂 I am so bad at purchasing things, really try to avoid gifts 🎉 That is so neat about you hometown! Hope you have a great year!! 🙏🏼
That’s so funny because I’m a terrible gift giver too!!!! I’m just not good at picking things out for people! I’d rather go somewhere with people, like out to eat. Have an experience together rather than a gift that ends up in a drawer or on the floor!! ❤

Of course I do like gifts! Because I like to have tangible reminders of people and trips. ❤
