    I don’t think that a lot of people in the West realize how big the music industry is in Asia and how diverse and genre bending it is in Japan.

    I saw someone touch on this in another comment, but I wanted to expand on it a bit since it's one of the things I love so much about the vocaloid community and Hatsune Miku.
    Art exists to convey our feelings to other people, right? Sometimes you find art that really speaks to you, something that says, "The person who made this knows how I feel." You can tell they've had similar experiences. For folks like us, it's usually music that touches our heart. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
    Bringing this back to Hatsune Miku, out of all the thousands of songs written for her, there are bound to be some that speak to any given person, but now they're all coming from the same voice. So here is this person who doesn't exist, and yet always knows how you feel. She will always love you, never judge you, will always be there for you with the words you need to hear. You'll also never see her get arrested for drunk driving or something.
    I could go on but I've left enough long comments on your channel tonight, I think. Hopefully I was able to communicate one of the reasons Miku's fans love her so much, even though she's not actually a person.
    Does that make sense?

      Thank you very much, yes it all make sence, and I do know that some guy's have married her and if something like this can bring peace and happiness to the world I am all for it.

    I think something that is amazing about Hatsune Miku and other Vocaloids is that because they aren’t real, the songs tend to be a bit darker. A lot of artists such as Neru, Maretu and Wowaka who produce Vocaloid songs have songs covering real life issues like depression. Most real pop-stars would feel uncomfortable about singing about some of the stuff mentioned Vocaloid producer Kikuo makes songs on. The way that producers bring awareness to topics through Miku and the other Vocaloids is something that I feel like real singers could never be able to do (or at least, the same way the Vocaloids do)

    I love your reaction. It's the kind of embracing what's new I wish I had developed much earlier in life. I discovered Miku in 2017 (when she was already 10 years old) and couldn't let go of the music ever since. I heard of her before but was too ignorant to take a closer look.
    If you're looking for another song worth reacting to, I would highly recommend the Magical Mirai 2016 live performance of "Doctor = Funk Beat" sung by the male vocaloid KAITO. It's widely considered one of the best KAITO live performances ever. The instrumental part of the song is absolutely incredible. I'm very sure you'll love it.

    People can like and listen to whatever they want too, that's the beauty of so many different types of music, but like I said last time this is a big no for me. I want real singers in real bands. Fair play to the creator he done a fantastic job, can't argue with that and it's brought a lot of success, and it was interesting little insight into it, but not for me

      Vocaloid is rather an instrument, you understand it quickly as you listen to the bands which using it. I would say, it's actually more like a keyboard. The fact that they manage to put up live concerts with Vocaloid characters is truly amazing.
      I personally feel that Babymetal was designed as an imitation of Vocaloid. I was never able to overcome that feeling. Each time I tried to listen to Babymetal, I would very quickly think to myself that I should better listen to the "original," which is Yuyoyuppe, or Utsu-P, or whatever musician they've used as a composer.

    6:41 sorry but i dont think that a piece of tecnology can be able to replace a real singer, even with neural network is impossible to fake a real person, and that is the magic around this project, she isnt human and that is the reason why is so incredible, she is the incarnation of electronic music, so now we have even electronic voice, not only electronic sound, but as the electronic instrument they are unable to replace real instrument, like electronic voice cant replace real voice, you cant even compare electronic stuff with real stuff, they are two worlds that have to coexist but one can never replace the other one, so i dont think someone would prefer only virtual singers

    • @OldMrB
      @OldMrB  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, no a electronic voice will never replace a human but the band is real with real instruments.

      @@OldMrB yes i think they are essential, that why i love this project, is the perfect fusion of human and tecnology and this is incredible, this remind me the daft punk robotic voice, it was so fascinating at the time, but one of the thing that i really appriciate is that with this tecnology even who dont have the possibility to pay a performer can create home made music,
      i dont know if you know chiptune music, the electronic music made with an old game boy, but is the same thing, with a cartrige called little sound dj you can turn the game boy in a 8 bit synthesizer and compose your music with 4 to 8 channel, so now anyone who wants to have fun with music and compose a song can do everithing without spend a lot of money as the professionals do, i think this is the main field of this type of tecnology

      @@flutterbat89x69 Thank you, yes I messed about with DJ, back then on my computer but it's not the same as playing the guitar or keyboard for real I also have made music from just using samples. it's okay but it takes the fun out of creating and playing you own music but like you say it's fun for people to make some music with out having to buy all the equipment what I like about Hatsune Miku is the movement even when they have her playing the guitar her hand and fingers are playing the right notes it's amazing but take the live band away it would not have the same effect.
