I just found your channel tonight Mr. Torr, Jack, and I promise I will be back. I watched yours and youe beautiful Sophia's entire Bhutan documentary tonight. And now, in my 75th year, I would love to visit this gorgeous, happy, enviromentally visionary little country. At my age, I will not get to go every place I wish to go, but the two of you just took me to Bhutan!! And, you put it on my list! Thank you so very much.
Such a pretty country, with colorful scenery, clothing, temples and a warm spirited people who've allowed you to share insight into their culture and lives. Being secluded in the beauty of mountains, and air with none of the pollution our bustling western cities have, is also a blessing this amazing land of contrasts deserves.
I,m watching you arrive in Nepal and get engaged, then the Bhutan ,it's absolutely wonderful ,l,m enjoying your videos enormously, your oratory is great.
Jack, u r more educated to match ur age mate. Thankyou for promoting my country to the world. Bhutan is different bcos of the people and the philosophy we follow. Money alone cannot make us happy, thats what Bhutan can teach u. Hospitality in Bhutan doesn't come just bcos u r a cash cow, it comes automatically without the expectations of any return from u. Anyways, it was a nice ride with u in ur Bhutan episodes, visit us again. Love from Brisbane!
Thank you so much for visiting Bhutan and appreciating our culture and tradition i hope you and Sophie had a great time here. Your Bhutan series is one of the best series in youtube. Sending lots of love to you and Sophie❤❤

Hey Jack and Sophia, Love you guys and thank you for visiting Bhutan and sharing your wonderful experience while visiting there. I was born in Bhutan and educated under Bhutan scholarship in India, I am now a US citizen but cannot forget Bhutan; my work there as a teacher, head of schools and as lecturer for teacher trainees. Unfortunately. we became refugees and settled in other countries but still love Bhutan dearly. I encourage everybody to visit Bhutan and enjoy the beauty and hospitality of wonderful locality. Love you all there and wish you all the best for continuous peace and prosperity. I expect to visit my last beloved home country very soon.
Gratitude flows from our hearts for your gracious visit to our country. Your kind words and heartfelt prayers have touched us deeply, creating a beautiful connection that transcends borders. Thank you very much for sharing in our journey with such warmth and sincerity. 🙏
Hi Jack. I am Buddhist from Philippines. Bhutan is belongs to Mahayana Buddhist school where in Mahayana Sutras depicted Buddhas other than Gautama like Saviour beings whom people seeking up to hear the teachings and bless them from deliverance of sufferings. But if we look to final sutra taught by Gautama Buddha, the Buddha nature is not outside from us but it is inherently endowed in all living beings waiting to be awakened by Faith. NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO.. 🙏😊
Thank you for Visiting my country Bhutan 🇧🇹. We love your country Australia 🇦🇺 as well and we people believe that Australia is our second home. Currently I live in Perth and really love it to be here in Perth.
that mantra was the mantra of the god of compassion, pronounced, "Om Mani Padme Hum" and im a big fan from bhutan... lovely couple.. and do visit again .... spread love.... PEACE... with a big smile 😊
Imagine Buddhism as a way of realizing that you are the Buddha, or at least, that you have the potential to be. It teaches that the Buddha isn't a distant figure but rather a state of mind and compassion you can embody. The Buddha’s journey was about discovering inner peace and understanding life without clinging to things that bring suffering. Buddhism encourages you to see that peace, kindness, and awareness are already within you. By practicing mindfulness, compassion, and understanding, you’re simply waking up to that Buddha within - becoming more present, wise, and compassionate every day. Buddhism is like practicing science, discovering within, it is a very vast subject, so there are lots of different teaching, as one precious guru said some of the buddha's teaching is like in a senerio like a child is at the edge of the cliff, its like waving a doll to a kid and letting the child crawl towards you rather than explaing him about the gravity and death
Paul and Sophia Watching your video from South Africa. Bhutan is just breathtaking, beautiful country. I will be watching your videos. Looking forward to visiting Bhutan . Wishing you both all the best on your journey❤❤❤❤
Very informative Vlog Jack and please take care of Sophia she's cute and innocent girl keep her in your Heart Forever you have been so lucky to get such a girl greetings from the Sultanate of Oman.
I visited Bhutan in june of this year, stayed at the same homestay in punakha where you are staying. AMMA is really a sweet person and an amazing cook and host. That homestay is HOME. Hope to see you soon, AMMA.
Much of the Bhutanese mountain scenery looks like where I live in the Cordillera Mountains of northern Luzon, the Philippines. Sagada, our town, is called the Shangri-la of the Philippines and almost everything you noted about life in Bhutan's mountain areas, including rice terraces, weaving, and home grown food is true of Sagada. You should try a visit here, Jack.
Estoy realmente impresionado , una hospitalidad increíble , un país fantástico . Un gran abrazo para Ustedes y para todos los habitantes de ese hermoso país . Estoy disfrutando del valioso documental . Desde Perú , muchas gracias !
Hi Jack and SOPHIA I love this video on Bhutan especially on the the rural areas. Also your travel guide was very informative and kind, driver vary skillfuf.love love it.
Mr.Jack just watched your Bhutan video..The homestays wer serene nd pure..The details u provided on ur evry step is jus top notch for the viewers..looking forward for more amazing experiences ✌️
Wooow ...now I watch a good video of Bhutan... I dream of going in this country and I hope so in the future .. Thank you Jack..anyway your lucky to have a beautiful woman ...
Generally, there is two kind of Buddhism: Hinayana and Mahayana. 1) Hinayana is followed across Thialand, Cambodia, Tiawan, China, Singapore, Vietnam, etc. Their practice revolves around self liberation/enlightment. 2) Mahayana is followed in countries like Bhutan, Nepal, Tibet, India, etc. Mahayana buddhist practioner believes that every sentient being is our mother because we are supposed to be born in any kinds of form depending upon our own karma in the endless cycle of samsara. Thus Mahayana believers do pray and help other sentient beings to get enightment as well. Mahayana also has four branches, namely Kagyu, Nyingma, Sacha and Gyalug. Bhutan is generally dominant in Kagyu and Nyingma and these two belongs to tantric version of Buddhism. Therefore there are so many myths embedded in our country that is very hard to be understand by our mere logical thinking. Moreover, vajrayana/tantric sect is considered to be the shortest possible gateway to enlightment during our single lifetime. That is the difference I see as a Buddhist among this various division. I ain't expert in Buddhism but I am trying to clear the doubts that you are having. I found one mistake in your video and that is our constitution mandates us to preserve 60% forest coverage for all generations to come. Lastly, I would like to thank you and Sophia for visiting our country and loads of gratitude for really potraying and narrating everything in a magical way. Best wishes ahead and please do visit us again. ❤❤❤
Just a quick note that “ hinayana” as to refer to Therevada is not used anymore. as Hina- means minor or lower, it has been reviewed by buddhist scholars… Thera-vada means the way of the elders ( thera) or also SOuthern School of Buddhism…
China, Vietnam and Taiwan are mostly Mahayana. Bhutan and Tibet are Vajrayana which can be considered part of Mahayana. . Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia are Theravada. India is no longer a Buddhist country.
Well go in August next year. Im trying to educate as mich as possible before the trip. Thanks for giving some insight in the Country. I hope the Nature there can be preserved forever!
