    Love the Prinsu. Adding that to my 91 LC when I have the funds. Thanks for the side by side! Great looking rigs!

    I own Prinsu but I like front runner style more

    The Prinsu looks bada$$ but the Front Runner is more functional and has a higher load capacity. I'm also not sure if the Prinsu's dynamic load limit can handle the weight of a RTT. The Front Runner exceeds the max limit of the LC80 roof load limit, so it's all good in that department. Plus it is far easier to clean the roof of your 4WD with the Front Runner as you can fit your arm beneath the cross bars. The Prinsu needs the roof rack to be empty in order to have access to clean the roof.

    The issue I see with any roof rack system is weight and gear mounted on the side being torn off on the trails. Here in the CA desert and mountains I have to fold in mirrors to prevent rock/tree outcroppings tearing them off. Both those systems look like an outstanding solution for carrying lightweight gear tucked inboard only.

    • @CruisingTheLand
      @CruisingTheLand  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed.
      For my boards hanging off the side, I also have flat mounts in the Prinsu to move then onto when going on tight trails, when every inch counts!

    Both of those look like quality bits of kid. I've always really liked the Gamiviti racks. These two look like great options as well

    I think prinsu distributes the weight much better having the entire length of the rack resting in the gutters

    • @CruisingTheLand
      @CruisingTheLand  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would agree, but some are saying FR, but I cant see how with 4 anchor points vs the entire length.

    Prefer the prinsu because it looks more sleek. And is that a turquoise colored actiontrax!? 😱

      It is a baby blue ActionTrax.

    Would like to see Delta vs Prinsu. Big fan of having the main support run in the rain gutter. Delta looks to be much more price wise.

      Actually I will be doing a video on a solid, welded Roof Rack that is superior to both of these. Company out of South Africa, now available here in the USA.. Video coming within the week!

      @@CruisingTheLand Looking forward to seeing this. Currently working in Kuwait and stopped by a shop that sells Eezi Awn products. Not sure if this is who you're talking about but their hard RTT seems well built.

    Bowfin Cruisers FTW ;-) Hey but 15% off might change my mind..haha I like how the Prinsu and Bowfin are modular because I love using my sunroof. Thanks for the real-time comparison. Not sure why you would need more than 8 bars.. Isn't that Frontrunner that high because of the table option? I thought I saw someone have the lower option model. What concerns me as much as anything is the added wind noise. Can you guys comment on that please? And thanks for the 15% off link!

    • @CruisingTheLand
      @CruisingTheLand  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I also like Bowfin. It is the same as Prinsu... Except slight difference in the front side design.
      Which begs the question, which came first? The 🐔 or the 🐣...
      One of them partnered with the other.. Just Prinsu is a big company and Bowfin a small outfit.

    • @NigelNaughton

      @@CruisingTheLand Yeah really they are both great but man, 15% off is about a $200 difference for me...that's like 5 gallons of gas! haha. Actually I sent a email to Bowfin asking if they are having a similar sale. ;-)

      @@NigelNaughton I picked up last week at the beginning of the Slring sale the roof rack, basket (comes with 1 bar) and load panels. I am adding the rack to my Black Diesel build.
      Hack hint... not sure if it was a glitch, but before the sale, I had the code: Prinsu10 in their coupon code section, and it took that too! See if it works for you..
      Dropped the rack from 790 down to 710...

    Prinsu all the way. Frontrunner is too noisy.

    • @CruisingTheLand
      @CruisingTheLand  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I know my Prinsu is quiet. The deflector aims wind up amd over like a wind tunnel. The Front Runner wind deflector shoots the wind down, which in restrospect is a little counter intuitive and may cause more wind noise on the sun roof.
