Improving Seasickness resistance naturally

  • The ocean is my worst enemy. I would absolutely love to be on the water more, but I've come to find out that I get easily seasick.
    I was reminded of this today when a friend of mine, Ray posted that he's going Tuna fishing tomorrow.
    I'd LOVE to be able to get over my weakness of being at sea.
    I seem to always be fine on things such as kayaks, row boats and canoes on bodies of water such as streams, rivers, ponds and lakes. However, when it comes to the ocean, seasickness is nearly unavoidable.
    On some sort of speed boat I tend to be fine. When a large ship is in motion I also tend to be fine. The moment the engine cuts. That is when it hits me.
    Things like deep sea fishing, whale watches, etc have been a nightmare.
    So, of course in the last few months I've started to do some research into the causes of seasickness and some possible cures or bandaids.
