Lovely to hear from you Steve! The food there is lovely isn´t it, there is know way you can leave this market hungry, hehe. The foods are all so nicely presented, the Thais do that so well! Now eat your porridge and have a good day and week Steve! Best Regards from Denmark! :-D
This was filmed a few years back. Back then Fishermans Village was on Fridays and Lamai on Sundays. There is also a market at Chaweng Beach, maybe on Saturdays (we cannot remember). We have not been back since Corona so we do not know if the market days may have changed. Thanks for watching our video :-D All our Koh Samui Travel videos can be viewed here: th-cam.com/video/oT611Ejghyc/w-d-xo.html
Indeed Maxi and Maro. :) Phuket on new year to see my father and his family. My gf Nee, son and me are going to Chiang Mai on TG on mid-January for 3 days.
Wow! When are you going to release new flight videos! Love them! Btw awesome video maxi and Maro ( sorry if I got the names wrong! Doing this of memory!)
Thanks for your kind words, we will start production of a new flight video in a week or two (they take time and we have quite a few of them in our archives). Take care and thanks for your interest and support :-D
I was on KS for about 6 hours. Too many falang, everything so expensive. This is not my Thailand as I know it. But I found some places where it is calm and very, very slow. If you need a tuk-tuk you have to tell the driver which month he should come if know what I mean. But the people there are friendly, a little bit like children.
We always enjoy our time spent in Thailand, and like all places we can see changes over the years, that´s just the way it goes... We really enjoy visiting the Thai culture and always look forward to our return. Thanks for sharing your opinions and have a good week ahead.
Traveller Well, I know Thailand before it became so "touristic" and I assure you it was different, compared to nowadays. I lived in the Wat in Surat Tani for some months and traveled around for longer time and during several visits. Beside the routes of the tourists you still find it. Bankok, Puket, Koh Samui, Koh Pi pi, Hua Hin, Chiang Mai etc is not Thailand anymore (as I know it). But there are still many places left I found similar places in India NOT IN GOA, Dream-beaches as far as you can look and no European tourists. I will travel to India next summer. Beside the very old culture very nice to travel and good for a relaxing-holiday at the sea with (barramundi-)fishing and swimming. I' m 65 years old and still on the road, man. I still got a lot to do, time is running...
There are actually quite a few Thais shopping at these markets around Thailand, in our opinion, the prices are not falang prices. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday :-D
