  • Tearing out an old wood seawall and replacing with aluminum. Half way through, you will see a glimpse of the debris that had been thrown behind the old wall to stop erosion over the years. this is not uncommon. but as you will see, we always get through it and leave the customer happy. This is how we earn money to enjoy our trips to Alaska. We will be in Alaska at the end of this month and again this summer. You have seen some of the work, now stayed tuned, like and subscribe to see the "Play" in "PlayWorkProductions". Thanks for watching!

I want to do this on a house I have in the Caribbean, what’s the price for the vibrating hammer attachment? Or one you would recommend

Sorry for the late response. There is no way to answer that. A vibrator(plate tamper)for a trachoe in the Caribbean could be very expensive and hard to find. At least, i would imagine it would be difficult to come by being the islands and therefore very expensive. It has become more popular over the years, so its possible to find someone who has one, but honestly, you would be better off to simply jet them in wirh a pump since you will be in sand. The only reason we vibrate is to out them in at great depth or in subtrate that isnt entirely sand. In this video, we had stuff called hard pan. A collection of soils that are very difficult to jet through that lies under the sand. Also roots from trees that were previously there before storms. I would imagine in the carribean, you could jet your sheets in with little effort and save a lot of money!

What you call that claw you used to pull with

It's called a pallet puller. They dont have a lot of strength. Those pilings were in sand and mud and easy to pull. I actually bent the puller a little and the last couple of pilings. It's really good for pulling out boards or similar material. A plate dog works better for flat materials such as metal sheets. That's what we used later in the video to lift and set the alluminum sheets. But a pallet puller works great for grabing and releasing light material.

I wonder how much do these cost

The price is by the foot and changes with the rise of material cost, but it costs quite a bit. That's an aluminum wall, and aluminum is expensive!

if use PVC sheet pile to build the wall, it will save much more cost.
