- On this project we removed an old failing seawall then installed a new Everlast Vinyl 5.5 series seawall and elevated the property to get rid of the drastic slope to the canals edge. Then installed a new boardwalk with a paddleboard/kayak Boat Lift
Great job! I'm looking to get something similar to that done on my backyard

Thanks Buster nice talking with you. Hope your wall turns out well. Send me some pictures as soon as it’s done maybe I’ll make a video on your project.

Perfect !!!!!!!!!
Impressive.
Thank you so much for taking your time to comment!
What is the clamp you are using to pull the sheets out? Thanks for the videos.
Hey Dale, love your videos. I own and maintain a small marina in South Louisiana, most of our work is for ourselves so we are not pros by any means. We seem to have trouble getting pilings on layout in deeper water especially with current rolling. Any tips?
Hey Rod, thanks for your comment and watching the videos. We have the intercoastal waterway here where it gets narrow, and we deal with the same issues. Sometimes we will tie a rope mid span of the piling why we are trying to stand it up to hold it close to the place it needs to go. On top of that we always have a lot of limestone in that area. We have to go through so it makes it very challenging. Good luck with your projects.
Hey Dale, love the videos. What kind of vibratory hammer do you use?
Thanks for your comment. I believe one of them is called a MPK but can’t swear to it and the other one is just a cat plate compactor.
No wonder it failed!! In the ground 3 feet if that
What is that sock drain down at the 6’ level? Does that tie into your weeps?
Thanks for your comment Ben I have the inch and a half pipes joint in to the 6 inch sock drain to help relieve the water pressure from behind the seawall
I noticed the weep hole in the wall at 10:05. After the wall is complete, is this weep hole above or below the waterline?
Thanks for checking on my page. I typically try to keep the weep holes a a foot and a half to 2 foot above the high tide line, so I’m not letting Water get back behind the wall. The waterline you see on the vinyl is from us, jetting behind the wall and had trap some water on the backside.
Good eye!!
Where are you located need an estimate ?
Thank you for your comment and Question we are located in Gulf Breeze Florida and only work 50 miles within this area.

FAILURE TO ADMINISTER PPE
HARD HATS...not worn when working on a construction site? Really? Your other videos had guys wearing hard hats... so what changed here? Your crew, yourself, appear competent, very capable... but accidents happen.
Stick to the seawall/dock questions Paul. Don't be that guy!
Boots required boss. “Watch for snakes”loses the lawsuit. Boots required with ankle protection and steel toes.
Thank you for watching my channel and you were comment. I definitely understand the boots thing but when you fall in the deepwater with boots on and steel toe shoes and makes a very difficult to swim. The athlete developed from wearing wet boots all day long is not fun, we tried to implement them where we can but there’s just times you cannot. Keep on watching thank you.
