I think the point of that statement was more to not let the fact that you're a pilot get to your head because you think you're better than those who aren't one. Not everyone wants to fork out 12k to get a private. It doesn't mean they aren't capable of doing it and becoming a pilot, though. I definitely have met the pilots who think they're a God and it's cringe af
Hey, I came from a starving family and now soon will be flying my own plane. 🤷🏻♂️ Anyone can do it.
Even though I am not a pilot, I always show off on Hoyolab(Mihoyo game community) as an aviation fan and make a lot of aviation related art which is 50% percent off topic. Many people who viewed these art didn't seem to understand all of it, and I often post a very long comment under it to explain my art to the viewers, but they don't seem to read it either. It is also true that since you're allowed to post photos in the comments of Hoyolab, so I often troll using aviation memes of the same template as the post under the comments.
