    Helpful but it's hard to hear you I'm guessing the camera audio is down or too far away.

    What brand of wheel is this? My wheel is very similar but the maker is out of business and I can no longer get parts.

    Dear Janet, what modell is your lovely spinning chair?

    • @janet-myspinonthings7016
      @janet-myspinonthings7016  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh Lillian, thank you. I bought them off facebook market place locally and they are my dining chairs. They don't have a brand name but boy are they comfortable. It's so important to have your hip bone and knees horizontal for comfortable spinning. Your knees should hardly move up and down whilst treadling. Good luck with your search.

    Janet, what an amazing teacher you are! I’m so grateful to have found your beginners spinning lesson 1 video. I stopped spinning about 18 years ago when we inherited our niece’s dog who, unfortunately, also liked to join in the spinning activity - ouch. Now, my old wheel was similar to an Ashford Elizabeth and was a double drive. My new Lendrum, which arrived yesterday, uses Scotch tension and, spinning top, I ended up with pigtail, after pigtail, after pigtail as I attempted to learn longdraw!! Craziness, for sure!!! Needless to say, I had quite a mess on my bobbin - ‘though I had LOTS of fun! Thanks to your video, I feel I’ll be able to do more successful spinning this evening. I look forward to learning to spin properly as I work my way through your videos. Yours in Gratitude
