    I believe the correct way is to both use front and rear brakes at the same time, whether light or hard braking. This is really important as it serves as the proper weight distribution on your tires for more effective stopping. This is the reason why some Honda scooters have a combi-brake system. Definitely mas mataas ang lateral braking force kung front brake lang or rear brake lang ang gagamitin (kaya sumesemplang madalas yung iba)
    Speaking of lateral effects ng braking, these are used by professional bike racers as they intentionally shift the weight using their bike's front and rear brakes to improve their bike's handling when cornering or exiting out of the corner. (these weight-transfer braking techniques are also used by professional car racing drivers to shift the grip to the front or the rear tires). It just so happen with bikes, since it only has 2 wheels, lateral forces are much more involved (lateral forces are countered by banking the bike). Unless you're not a professional rider and there's no need to intentionally shift the weight of your bike, then I couldn't stress it enough to use both front and rear brakes when slowing down or stopping.
    Weight Transfer is well explained, this is the fundamental aspect that could save your life when braking your motorcycle. Ride safe everyone.
    (By the way, It's "brake(s)", not "break(s)". Know the difference of the two, treat this as constructive criticism as we don't want other people to comprehend the wrong term.)

      @EVO 1̶5̶ yan din ginagawa ko lods, rear break muna then front isang pitik pagitan. Mas nice

      @Jong K̶i̶n̶s̶e̶ rear muna bago front break..kong tamang hinto ka lng..pero kong alanganin ka.. front and rear sabay yun...

    • @haseotorres2770
      @haseotorres2770 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Totally agreeing with this. Dapat talaga both brakes sabay. Kapag nauna kasi either isa sa front or rear may chance na magskid ka.

      @mharveypanezaris4138 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      This one is the most correct with reason.
      Using only the Front Brake will cause Semplang more likely as its affects Handling.
      And Using Only the rear will Cause youre bike Skidding.
      So in the End use both. But I suggest Rear first before Front.

    Im a newbie rider hindi ako nakapit sa break . Kase dapat always relax ka and dont panic hindi masama humawak sa break kaya lang hindi relax for me ha 2020 nako nag ka motor and always nag memenor ako lalo na sa mga highway na may chance may biglang lumiko at tumawid parang sa ride ko most of the time hindi ako nag bebreak well kanya kanya tayo ng style hindi kase ako basta basta nag papanic works for me not sure sa iba "Always Mindful nalang siguro " pero nag bebrake ako pag ramdam kong d kakayanin ng meron ung pag tigil alaways pray kay god bago mag ride :)

    Per my experience in riding, I use the rear brake first, and then after about 1 0r 2 seconds, I apply the front brake. But for emergencies, maybe we can apply the front and rear break at the same time.

    very informative to ,mas safe kapag mas mabigat ang piga sa harap tapos alalay ang likod , ganyan ako mag preno pero nakadepende sa sitwasyon parin, by experience mas madedevelop pa ang strategy sa pagpreno..almost 15 years na ako nagmomotor..

    SER MEL THANK U PO!. Your tips really helped me. More than 1week kuna sinasahay. Matagal napo akong nag momotor and i always used the rear brake before front. (Tama sya but not all the time). When i tried to utilize more sa front brake saka alalay rear mas mas okay sya para sakin. This solve my problem kasi even when im already outside preparing to corner. Nag oovershoot ako kunti. Kasi when i started to brake the rear first it dragged me sabay sa front hirap na e correct yung direction ko(if matagal na nag bibike makaka relate kau). But when i tried to used front before rear. Nag cocorect yun position ko kasi mabilis ang pag reduce ng speed at mas na liliko ko maayos.
    Not all the time okay ang rear before front. Cguro if biglaan talaga rear front maganda or complete stop. Pero tumatakbo na maganda front gamitin especially if preparing to corner or gusto lang mag menor kunti.

    For newbie sir lalo sa mga first timer pasama ng how to
    1. How to avoid brake dive.
    2. Drag rear brake on slow manuever.
    3. Good Better and Best braking for smoother stop.
    4. Trail Braking
    Sir yung point number 4 to be honest po wala pakong Filipino na Blogger na nakitang nag turo nyan. Yes is an advance technique pero super need sa safety lalot sa mahilig mag marilaque.
    Malaking opportunity sa vlog mo Ser Boss.

    Solid ser mel! Ganda talaga ng info sayo lagi. Dagdag ko lang yung mga naka non abs na motor, na hinay hinay lang sa pag brake. Pag biglaan wag biglang preno lalo yung mga naka stock tires na madudulas. Dami ko nakitaan na sumemplang dahil sa maling pag titimpla ng brake

    Na enlighten ako sa content na to ser mel. Dami kc nagsasabi na dapat rear brake lng gamitin kasi daw pag front brake sesemplang. But this is a very good example na dapat talaga combination ng rear at front brake ang dapat gamitin. Already seen the difference of braking on this content. Napaka helpful talaga, lalo na sa mga beginner rider na tulad ko. Ser Mel's contents is the best talaga. Ride Safe always Ser Mel.

    Agree ako lodi sa combined brakes pero sa experience ko delikado pag mag preno ka na unahin ang front lalo pag high speed dami na nasemplang sa ganun. I use rear break first alalay ang front depende sa situation especially during emergency dapat tantyado mo lakas pano gumamit ng combined baka mauna kumagat ang front mas risky.

  • @istorieszone5425
    @istorieszone5425 4 ปีที่แล้ว +100

    its always depends on the situation po in my own opinion po ha. Para saken dapat rear break lang talaga tapos naka alalay lang ang front para sa mga biglaang pag hinto since front kase ang pinaka malakas na break. Purpose of using rear break ay kung hindi mo naman kailangan na huminto agad example ay pag memenor lang bago lumiko. Sometimes kase ang maling pag gamit ng front ay maaaring maka cause ng accident kase minsan nakaka dulas po. Para saken avoid combining breaks except kung kailangan mo ng biglang hinto example may biglang tumawid na kamote.

    I rearly use my rear brake and I never let my 2 fingers off my front brake lever ... remeber that 70% of stopping power comes from the front brake. A combo rear and front is always way better than rear brake alone

    Para sa akin, kapag mabagal ang takbo or usually traffic, rear brake gamit ko. Kapag mabilis palaging front brake. Palaging alalay lng ung isang brake depende sa situation. Overall, mag babase pa
    rin yan sa experiences nyo. Kaya mganda ang break in sa pag uuumpisa ng motor, hnd lang para sa motor para na rin sa sarili natin. Sa pagbalanse, sa paggamit ng silinyador at syempre sa pagbrake na rin. Ingat po tyo lahat godbless

    Kapag ma bagal2x yung takbuhan ko ser mel yung rear brake gamit ko most of the time. Pero kung nasa corner po ako at gusto ko effective yung pag set ko ng speed bago mag lean, front brake po. Gagamitan ko lng ng rear brake, habang naka front brake, kung nakukulangan o nababagalan ako sa deceleration bago pumasok sa corner.
    Experience at observation ko lng po lahat yan Ser Mel. Can't wait po sa vlog niyo noong nag track day po kayo.

    For manual bikes, front + rear + engine break is the best.

    Advisable talaga is always using the Combi break & it depends on situation, Agree with the 70% front, 30% Rear. Mapa ABS man or Standard. Always put inside your mind na mapa city driving & long riding alalay lang palagi sa pag piga. Walang silbi ang ganda ng breaking system ng motor kung kamote naman sa daan. Oraayt! Always Remember rule #1 mga ser. Ingat palagi & God Bless us all. Isa lang ang buhay natin wala ng mabibili sa palengke. Oraytt Yes seeeerrr! Magandang Content ito ser mel para sa mga hindi pa nakaka alam. 🎉❤️❤️❤️❤️
