I believe the correct way is to both use front and rear brakes at the same time, whether light or hard braking. This is really important as it serves as the proper weight distribution on your tires for more effective stopping. This is the reason why some Honda scooters have a combi-brake system.
Speaking of lateral effects ng braking, these are used by professional bike racers as they intentionally shift the weight using their bike's front and rear brakes to improve their bike's handling when cornering or exiting out of the corner. (these weight-transfer braking techniques are also used by professional car racing drivers to shift the grip to the front or the rear tires). It just so happen with bikes, since it only has 2 wheels, lateral forces are much more involved (lateral forces are countered by banking the bike). Unless you're not a professional rider and there's no need to intentionally shift the weight of your bike, then I couldn't stress it enough to use both front and rear brakes when slowing down or stopping.
Weight Transfer is well explained, this is the fundamental aspect that could save your life when braking your motorcycle. Ride safe everyone.
(By the way, It's "brake(s)", not "break(s)". Know the difference of the two, treat this as constructive criticism as we don't want other people to comprehend the wrong term.)

Totally agreeing with this. Dapat talaga both brakes sabay.

This one is the most correct with reason.
Using only the Front Brake will cause Semplang more likely as its affects Handling.
And Using Only the rear will Cause youre bike Skidding.
So in the End use both. But I suggest Rear first before Front.

Per my experience in riding, I use the rear brake first, and then after about 1 0r 2 seconds, I apply the front brake. But for emergencies, maybe we can apply the front and rear break at the same time.

Kase dapat always relax ka and dont panic hindi masama humawak sa break kaya lang hindi relax for me ha 2020 nako nag ka motor and always nag memenor ako lalo na sa mga highway na may chance may biglang lumiko at tumawid parang sa ride ko most of the time hindi ako nag bebreak well kanya kanya tayo ng style hindi kase ako basta basta nag papanic works for me not sure sa iba "Always Mindful nalang siguro " pero nag bebrake ako pag ramdam kong d kakayanin ng meron ung pag tigil alaways pray kay god bago mag ride :)

I rearly use my rear brake and I never let my 2 fingers off my front brake lever ... remeber that 70% of stopping power comes from the front brake. A combo rear and front is always way better than rear brake alone

For newbie sir lalo sa mga first timer pasama ng how to
    1. How to avoid brake dive.
    2. Drag rear brake on slow manuever.
    3. Good Better and Best braking for smoother stop.
    4. Trail Braking
Yes is an advance technique pero super need sa safety lalot sa mahilig mag marilaque.
Malaking opportunity sa vlog mo Ser Boss.
    Salamat!

its always depends on the situation po in my own opinion po ha. Purpose of using rear break ay kung hindi mo naman kailangan na huminto agad example ay pag memenor lang bago lumiko.

Advisable talaga is always using the Combi break & it depends on situation, Agree with the 70% front, 30% Rear. Mapa ABS man or Standard. Oraayt! Always Remember rule #1 mga ser. Ingat palagi & God Bless us all. Oraytt Yes seeeerrr! Ako nung baguhan ako rear brake lng talaga gamit ko kasi yun sabi nila ,sa sobrang nasanay nag slide gulong ko sa likod nung bglang my tumawid.
Hanggang sa sinanay ko sarili ko sa combo n break which is good ,ngaun sinusubukan kong gawin ang 70 front and 30 rear kaso mas dominante parin ung rear ko dahil yun tlga nakasanayan ko pero so far so good na rin naman ang combi break ko ngaun

  • @IsshurbOiMoto

Kapag ma bagal2x yung takbuhan ko ser mel yung rear brake gamit ko most of the time.

Your tips really helped me. More than 1week kuna sinasahay. Matagal napo akong nag momotor and i always used the rear brake before front. (Tama sya but not all the time). When i tried to utilize more sa front brake saka alalay rear mas mas okay sya para sakin. This solve my problem kasi even when im already outside preparing to corner. Nag oovershoot ako kunti. Kasi when i started to brake the rear first it dragged me sabay sa front hirap na e correct yung direction ko(if matagal na nag bibike makaka relate kau). But when i tried to used front before rear.
Not all the time okay ang rear before front. Cguro if biglaan talaga rear front maganda or complete stop. Pero tumatakbo na maganda front gamitin especially if preparing to corner or gusto lang mag menor kunti.

In my opinion, rear brake is the best in terms of reducing speed smoothly. In full stopping I used both, gently rear brake first while gently pressing the front brake for smooth full stopping.

Para sakin, don't go beyond the speed na tingin mo hindi mo kayang controlin o mag brake, in case of an emergency, thus you have to know your bike's weight, and pati load mo or angkas, the heavier your load and your bike, the harder for it to fully stop.
