Thank you! I wouldn’t go as far as hero and I’m not sure how often they do it but the Buxton Town Team also do litter picking and have some equipment they lend out to the public for the day too :)
@@Leock I visit Buxton on a regular basis. The location is always a pleasure to visit and spend time and the effort that you and other people give to maintaining its appearance is worthy of the praise.
What an incredible job 🏆🏅 What a shame it needs doing. We moved from the Buxton area in 2012 so it was interesting to see parts of it again. Would it be worth having a strong bag in your barrow that you can fill and then empty into bins? Then you wouldn’t have to unload objects individually.
I think I saw you a few months ago as I was waiting to pick my grandson up from Hardwick Square school last year...I saw you pushing the barrow and thought thank goodness community service is working and thought thank goodness that the losers and smackheads here were doing a good job...my mistake sorry and would like to thank you for the Amazing job you are doing...I hope High Peak Borough Council have watched this and would also like to ask if you do council repairs also because the Council is a sham...Cheers Les.
I really hope you've had your HepB & Tdap and keep them up to date. I appreciate you say hand-picking is quicker than a grabber but please invest in some high-rated EN 388 gloves.
I made the mistake of driving over snake pass and turning round just past Sheffield hospital at the round about and spotting clean air zone ends sign and going steait back down snake pass away form Sheffield. Anyways receve a £130 pcn ticket few weeks later for the rip of conn clean air charge. I can honestly say il never drive past the snake pass to turn round in Sheffield and il never visit that town again. 👍
I think you are a great Lad Leo, you are a credit to Buxton I only wish we had more like you, perhaps then our country would like like it was before plastic bags and bottles, cans and McDonalds wrappers (you can guess my vintage). What I really hate however is something you see everywhere while walking. It is an offence to leave dog mess on the ground after Fido does what comes naturally, so the answer is to pick it up in a bag and then bin the bag. Why then do people pick it up in a bag then dump the bag, hang it on a gate or a branch of a tree? Dog mess is at leave organic and will eventually disappear, a plastic bag will not. There todays rant is over, keep up the good work.

Disposable vapes are one of my annoyances they are littered everywhere along with little zip lock bags (thanks to all the drug users in Buxton). I did use one toward the end of the video to help with crawl spaces in the skate park but for the most part picking up by hand is quicker to me :)
