Even performing for thousands, she makes it seem as if she is singing just to you. I have seen her twice, in Atlanta; as a teen in 1967 and as a sexy senior citizen in 1996. From her first album right through to this moment, I have loved her. She has enriched my life beyond measure.
Barbra really puts herself into this song and can work magic to help us to recognize who we are in such a positive way. This is pure perfection that only Barbra can achieve. This song she does can lift your spirits.....just play it often and good results will happen.

I'm grateful that Streisand went back to performing live while her voice was still in its prime, and so many of her long time fans finally got the chance to see her in person (including myself, at this and several of her other subsequent concerts). And, while she may kvetch about how much she hates performing live, how nervous she gets, etc., it's clear from this clip that there's at least some part of her that thoroughly enjoys the hold she has over her audience.

Yes, Summer Me, Winter Me is astounding. But there are so many great renditions, it's hard to chose. "If I love again" from Funny Lady is one that comes to mind. "A child is born" too, on the Lazy Afternoon album is perfection.
