Big picture, this is what the coaches are saying: if a player openly suggests cancel culture lacks virtue and/or legitimacy that player does not fit with the culture of the team and must be punished. This is a state school that gets taxpayer money engaging in blatant viewpoint discrimination by revoking an opportunity specifically for views on political correctness.
As far as that trial lawyer goes, it's not about her feelings being hurt, it's about actions being taken against a student because of her political beliefs. Moreover she did not put her team into a situation where they would feel uncomfortable. The University and the coaches did when they brought lessons in 'White Privilege' to a volleyball program.
God bless this student athlete for standing up for herself against a crazed demonic system of conformity. Not since the decades before WWII in Germany has the world seen these pressures and demonic forces at work to 'conform' with the group and 'don't ask questions'.
No one really has conversations anymore. People treat each other like wood, like can sandpaper down by just yelling at them. People are entitled to their own opinion. You can't brute force people to change. That only makes them defensive and try to fight back.

In this time of the loss of freedom our politicians must be willing to stand up for the truth and what is right to the point of being imprisoned or death for standing for truth. This is not the time for cowards. People are being persecuted and will be far more persecuted if we ever get our freedom back.
She should have camped out in the front yard and screamed for the destruction of Israel and the college May have fully supported her making any statements she wanted… lol BTW, don’t agree with the lady saying she just got her feelings hurt, it appears the school confronted her over statements she made, did the team/school have a previous team code of conduct preventing said statements, was anyone else talked to for any of there options/statement’s? Was the school pushing an agenda on the team players? There may be more to the story than the short clips the media wants us to see, IDK.
Conservative Christians do not behave like this. Misguided teens do. I hope her lawyer advises her to fund-raise or put some money away for the defendant's legal fees.
No need. Simple contract law. She signed on to play volleyball at OU and she met to her obligations to the school. I don't think a judge will be impressed if OU claims a code of conduct violation had occurred by merely poking fun of political correctness catching up to a rival team on social media due to the obvious First Amendment rights of the students. Think about what they demanded her to do, subject herself to political propaganda in order for the university to allow her to play. (As if we live in the Soviet Union.)
You are completely wrong. The volleyball team created a hostile environment by attempting to censor her First Amendment rights and by injecting politics into an athletic activity. Let's say the tables were turned and they kicked her off the team because she was a BLM supporter. Do you see how ignorant you are now?

Why does a volleyball team require team members to push a political agenda?
the coaches are radical leftists
@@DerangedLeftWingers They've been infected by the CRT virus.

It's so difficult being White. It's true! Poor White People.
If you think about it they're the real victims.

Not playing volleyball is damage, madam “trial lawyer.”

Very well said
Dear KFOR, please get someone more qualified/competent than Jacqui Ford for your legal analysis.
No kidding.
Did this "trial lawyer" even read the complaint?

She is NOT racist, NOT a homophobe, and Ford's ridiculous claims are bogus.
Nice leftist lawyer you have there !
Retaliation for exercising First Amendment rights is damage, madame “trial lawyer.”
I hope the coach expresses her views exactly like this in front of a judge
Who’s the whale
I hope this girl wins her lawsuit against these racist coach and university who in the name of equality are clearly discriminating against her.

What does any of those topics have to do with playing ball, the players were baited and the school was pushing a political agenda on the students.
Poor persecuted conservatives.
