You did indeed learn a valuable lesson. Never wander in the woods without a map and compass, or a GPS device. Not the one on your phone, either. The property looks nice. And, I didn't find this video boring at all.

The one on your phone works just fine if you drop a pin and have service

How exciting! You will have good days and bad days on progress and mistakes. Just think them through and power on. You are doing what a lot of people wish they could do. Good luck to ya!!

I think a 4 wheeler on your property would be a benefit! You can make trails and learn the lay of the land and have access to places that are harder to hike to. Cool vid, looking forward to seeing what you do with it!

As for a temporary shelter? Buy a carport tent. Costco had some good ones even with a side door. They make great shelters you can live in temporarily. Then use them as a great storage place or guest house. Build a simple wood platform and you up the carport

Load ur map before u explore.. that way u can still see where ur are.

Hi Arthur, I am James from the Midwest lol. I liked this video, you have a good sense of humor and I like your effort into trying new things and that is key to growing and maturing. Your property looks great. Lot of trees is good to have and I would look into a wood burning stove/fireplace. Interested in seeing what you will do with your property. Maybe add a solar system, rain catchment system, green house, chicken coop. I cannot wait to get my property as I will be looking to get 2 to 5 acers of raw land and super excited about that!

11:01 That bowl does seem like a perfect meteor crater! You might want to get a good metal detector down there one day just to see! If it was, the size would be impressive, and given how much meteorites sell for depending upon their unique material compositions….could pay for the whole property and all the improvements you can dream up for years!! ❤🫂🤞🙏🍀🤷‍♂️

Get a metal detector and see if you can discover any meteorite fragments near that creator.

I’ve followed you for a while and I thought I knew what was going on lol. What is this place? What happened to the trailer? Also those barrels look like bear bait.

I very much enjoyed your boring video and am very much anticipating your next. It's you and your story of life which makes your videos interesting to me.

In my experience - there are three kinds of people:
    Humans Being
    Humans Doing
    Humans Going
I like your style...for what it's worth, I believe you're truly on the right path.
    Cheers from Vancouver Island.

I'm really happy for you. You've discovered one of life's greatest things- the value of stillness. Look and listen and you'll learn much. PS- If you're that worried about whatever or whomever jacking with you out there, by all means take along a firearm. This is America, so no need not to be tooled up.
