the companion of the elephant just died in November 2023 because she was old. Her name is "Mali". My emotions were strong, I was very sad because when I was a child, I used to see her often, we used to go for a walk at the Manila Zoo.

There's more Animals in Avilon Zoo as well, they have Hyenas, Jaguar, Leopard and other animals that aren't exhibited in Manila Zoo.

The Lions aren't well fed, they're too thin for what their size should be.
Or if I'm mistaken, the subspecies of that African Lion are different ones from the Lions I always see who are real Giants.

when was this because Mali the one and only elephant died recently after living a very very long life of almost 50 years so perhaps they have replaced him ?
