Cheers for that. Iv got a 2009 passat 1.9 tdi with an "exhaust manifold code" on! Have any of you come across this yet and if so what was the problem? Cheers guys..

@@kennyhorsfield6995 Thank you for the tutorial. The question I have is, did your code reader say the sensor was sensor 4 bank 1. I have been trying to find this sensor for a couple of days and can't locate. I even called 2 dealers and they gave me incorrect sensor plug locations . Any info would be appreciated thank you. By the way I have replaced all 4 wheel sensors the A/C sensor windshield wiper sensor and all 4 glow plugs. with 83000 miles on it its a 2011 seems after the diesel recall "fix" from the dealer, nothing has worked right.

@@tomm3137 no this one would be sensor 1 bank 1. You can test you sensor at the harness to figure out which one bad by reading the resistance in ohms.

@@tomm3137 hey, I know it's been like 3 or 4 years since your comment but did you manage to find the location of the sensor? I have the fault code P246E00 which is the same sensor as yours but I'm not sure about the location of the sensor. Any help would be appreciated, thank you 🙏
