The MOTB dress is beautiful!!!! I have to come up with my MOTB dress for June 2023 and I am already stressing over it. Love the other dresses as well. The black one with red roses is my favorite, such a happy fabric and love the lines of the dress. The pants suit is beautiful but I can see that it scared you as the fabric is very attention getting and you likely did not want to be in such focus. I think worn as separates it will make some amazing outfits.
Congratulations on getting your daughter off to a great start in her marriage. You did an amazing amount of high end sewing for the event. Making some t-shirts might be just the thing to do some laid back relaxing sewing!!!

You know, after looking at it again, I think the reason the “reject” outfit didn’t work for you is the fabric. If the print had been reversed - white flowers on pink BG - it probably would have. You look so good in bright colors. I love the idea of wearing the top as a jacket over jeans. If you wore a pink top under it, that would bring the color up to your face. Fabulous! And for a beach party, wear those pants with a pink cami! It would be a knockout!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Watching her change from my gown I wore when I married her Daddy 31 years before, to put on the short, white satin dress I made her for the reception, yes,it was MAGICAL! Absolutely stunning MOB outfit. All the dresses were fabulous. One thing I noted while listening was how most of the patterns were old favourites, tnt patterns. This meant you could relax and let the fabric speak. One thing I thought about your pants suit that it would be a good lounge set. You know an upscale PJ’s🥸. Love to have you back.

Wow, I love all your makes but your Mother of the Bride outfit is beautiful. I have already made 3 versions of this pattern in viscose and cotton but you have definitely inspired me to try it in a better fabric. I don’t expect to find anything as gorgeous as yours though!
