    XEV9 has a lifetime warranty on the battery. Does it mean that the promised range of 500 will stay for the lifetime of the vehicle, will the range not deplete over time

      Like all warranty clauses - normal wear n tear isn’t covered…only a failure of a component is covered. Also lifetime usually means 15 years (RTO rules for a vehicle to be fit for the road)

    Let's hope these cars would cover 1 lakh km without any failure 👍

    Hello, is it worth waiting for XEV or BE 6E? I have to buy a car and thinking of buying MG Hector top variant petrol automatic? Looking for guidance

      Buy any petrol cars u wont get mileage more than 8 in city and 12 on highway if u have multiple stops in city area with radius if 2-3kms ull get milege of 4-5 only and mahindra provides lifetime warranty so there isnt any other brand providing these so buy only mahindra ev i can perfer 😊

      Buying MG Hector??....Hell NOOOOO!
      Buy an Alcazar or XUV 700 instead...

      go for the BE 6 if you want a very sporty SUV. It has less space on board than the XEV though. If space and family room is more important, then go for the XEV 9e. If you intend on doing a lot of inter city travel and don’t want to stress about charging infrastructure- then the Hector will cater to that…or an XUV700 😉

      @@MotorScribesthanks. With so much of expansion in the charging infrastructure I don’t think charging will be a problem and my majority of driving will be in the city only

    Sir did you face any software issues in the test car? Also were the air pressure in tyres normal while you are checking the ride quality?

    • @FutureOfEv
      @FutureOfEv วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      It's beta version... For testing after that they fix everything

    • @MotorScribes
      @MotorScribes  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Air pressure was normal. These are pre production models, so we do see bits that aren’t working at the time but Mahindra is upfront with us about those elements. Actual glitches would be easier to talk about when we get the final products to drive in January 2025…

    Sir this is not a xev 9e question, but a more general ev one. If i have 7 kw of home load with a 3 phase meter, can i charge my car and run home appliances simultaneously?

    • @TheJohn222222
      @TheJohn222222 วันที่ผ่านมา

      you will need to add 7kw capacity to meter.

    • @karan.0034
      @karan.0034 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ are you 100% sure, i get mixed answers often, some say in 3 phase meter, it is not required to add additional 7 kw

    • @akhileshagrawal9714
      @akhileshagrawal9714 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It act😂ually depends on the DP capacity.. if say hypotectically u have a dp capacity of 100kw.. and the electricity provider has 10 homes each allocated a 8kw load.. which makes 80kw load on a 100kw dp.. so the dp capacity ahould not exceed 100kw in total.. if the load goes above 100kw then its kaboom.. dp overloads and shuts down.. so its better to get the load increased on your meter just so the agency knows how much load capacity has been put on that particular dp.. hypothetically speaking even if u have a 8kw load and use 20kw that would not be an issue unless total load does not go above 100kw

      Drive ev once. Very difficult to go back to ice. Ev is great for people who like a silent cabin and smooth ride. Charging infra is the only problem. If you have a 400km range vehicle and decent charging infra ev can be used anywhere. Plus taxes are so low on ev that you get futuristic cars at low prices. Government really has insane taxation on ice cars.
