    The design appears to take cues from several models, including the Renault Rafale, Cybertruck, Urus, Cadillac ELR, and Kia EV6. While not entirely novel, this approach is pragmatic given the budget constraints. When targeting price-sensitive mass markets, it's essential to strike a balance between innovation and affordability. By building upon existing designs, manufacturers can streamline development costs and create competitive products that appeal to a broader audience.

At the launch event Mahindra said that the ride and handling both are better than many of the luxury cars sold at 50-75 lakhs and what not they compared using graph and what not and illustrated by live tests too but now geeky ranjit who is an unbiased reviewer claiming that this is similar to xuv700. It just breaks my heart, even Gagan said the stability is not that good as some reviewers claim. The reviewer at team bhp said the same thing too.

    In future, I hope there is some innovation where there are wireless coils embedded in these cars & national highway also have wireless charging lane so that a continuous 10-20 Km ride on such lanes charges these cars wirelessly about 25-30%.

      Wireless is the least efficient means of charging, you end up spending almost 50% more energy compared to charging via a cable and this is for smartphones or other devices where the charging pad and the device itself is held so close to each other. With more distance comes more power loss and also the fact that you cant really wirelessly charge while in movement. I dont think we'll ever see wireless charing on EVs, physics is as of now just saying nope

    • @5150Amrit
      @5150Amrit 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@keshavsakthi546 Norway is doing it & is also planning to enhance the efficiency even further in the near future through more innovation in wireless lanes. Maybe the new innovations in the next 5-10 years in charging tech will allow wireless lanes to become reality in more countries.

    Given the limitations of EV there won't be any mass adoption in India till the time they are heavily discounted against ICE cars. Will Mahindra be launching a Tempered Glass Protector for this screen ? Wouldn't it be better to have placed an android tablet in the car instead ? Won't such a big screen be counter productive and diverting drivers attention while driving?
    Even after acquiring REVA so many years back Mahindra has failed to be a pioneer in the EV space.

    • @7567_Rex
      @7567_Rex 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      yes in fact you can get tempered glass for tesla screen in usa
      it is only matter of time you get it in india also
      but it is not needed tbh, as car screen wont fall from hand to ground
      if you compare specs of XEV and 700 it is almost same as AX5 5STR Diesel AT in fact XEV is 1L cheaper in OTR cost (23L vs 24L)
