As fans I don’t really think we should meddle in their problems. They know each other well and they can solve their problems without having fans throwing shades at them. Then mew quoted and said he can act according to what his fans wants but there are times he can’t and his fans have to respect that. The Just Drink event was one of the hardest to watch, especially as MG had not been seen together for a long time...a few days...enough to get the fandom on edge. This event followed the BoyFriend concert where the viral talk was about Mew's "BRO" caption on IGS. Everyone assumed that it made Gulf angsty. The fandom went into meltdown after Mew called out an account for its toxicity. Thai fans, especially those attending the event, were confused about the talk of sulking for they saw none of that. Many pointed out that Mew hardly glanced at Gulf, and Gulf was unusually acting on edge as well, but the Thai fans didn't see that as well. What were the interfans seeing that the Thai fans were unaware of? Let's take a moment to step back and really see what happened. This is all based on what was revealed on Twitter and IG several hours after the live. Before the Just Drink, Mew had received word that some toxic fans that hated him, posted personal information over at Weibo. The targeted individuals were his younger sister, Touch (one of MSS managers), and other staff members. Addresses, phone numbers, and other information were blasted over the internet. It was a security breach that could put anyone in a bad mood, especially as Mew had no time to attend to it because the Live was up in a few minutes. Thai government had released a statement that several public events were cancelled due to the rise of COVID19 cases. Talks were rife about another lockdown. Any lockdown could threaten Mew's plans for 2021, especially as he had already paid for the venue of his upcoming concert. The next complication, was the script handed to both MG. The live was heavily scripted and those at the event say that Gulf was frowning at the amount of stuff he had to study mere minutes before going on air. The instructions included NO INTIMACY and NO FAN SERVICE. Meaning, they were not supposed to act like the MG we are all familiar with. They also could not touch each other - see the pillows on their laps. MG did their best, but as the live went on, an unexpected change in instructions was given. The comments on FB (maybe) made Just Drink producers aware that the fans were not happy so they requested a quick change and said to increase the fan service. As witnesses at the event stated on Twitter, that didn't sit well with either MG. Gulf kept quiet as is his usual, but Mew absolutely refused to do the fan service and was quite vocal about it. This is not a surprise, as the fandom knows that neither MG do it at all. Also, changing instrucions in the middle of an ongoing live is not the way to be on the good graces of professionals like MG. What made matters worse was the top spender who threw shade at Mew for refusing to do fan service. It is assumed that the top spender was at the event. The added tension at the live only worsened when many soon became aware the top spender called Mew unprofessional for not doing what she requested, to do more fan service. Note that Mew and Gulf personally knew this top spender. The tension we all saw was not because Mew and Gulf were sulking at each other, in fact, it had nothing to do with the BRO comment at all. We now know the BRO was related to the Boyfriend project. Everyone attending the event came on twitter and posted clips of a very interactive and sweet MewGulf behind the scenes. What we saw at the live where there was absolutely none, was because they were instructed not to do the sweet moments, or say anything that may betray their relationship. Truth is, Mew and Gulf are very strong as a couple, it is just the circumstances that made it seem like they were having trouble. Trust in MG. Trust that their love is real. This is so fun and diffrent. I went to see same live from Thai channel, the comments in Thai all saying that they are so sweet and without FC and MC, Gulf might have been kissed. Some noticed the less of skinship then realised that in Thailand is about to have another wave of Codid 19. For my point of view, they normally give less skinship in live that has top spender fans present. I am also on twitter and read all those comments myself including other Thai comments. Not offence, but what you suggested in this vid is similar to what that toxic fan needed. She wanted them to act more sweet, give more skipship. She felt like Mew didn’t love Gulf enough or not as sweet as usual. She and her friends did this for a period of time so that other fans knew how toxic they were. Bad news is they always be the top spender. If you think that Mew was sulking at Gulf and gave less affection on this vid, think again. From another person in this live said they were fine and sweet to each other as usual. However, this is my view again, if you were Mew and you have to be professional in front of pepole who have been insulting you for some long time, how much can you cope with the feeling. If there is anyting not normal in this vid I don’t think it comes from their relation but the toxic fans’ present in the live.

I think some Thai fan maybe don't really understand what COVID-19 is because Thailand wasn't really impacted until now. No offence I love Thai fan they are cute, nice, smart and everything. But in my country everythings is closed ( shop, restaurant, library, a lot of school and university, cinema, theatre...). When I go in street I have a special paper and I have to wear a mask all day at work and at home when my familly come to say hello. All the church are closed. Chrismas is almost cancell (5 poeple max in a house) and I can't go out after 20h because of curfew . We need to let 1 m distancie between each person at the supermacket. We can't kiss friends or parents or children. We can't hug friends parents or collegues. It's hard and sad. My grandmother and my uncle are dead because of covid. Fans don't own their favourite 'bias' regardless of how much they spend to support them. We are all human, we have feelings and moods and problems. Nobody is perfect and it is unfair to project and impose your views/thoughts/feeling on others. We do not live their lives, we don't walk in their shoes. We do not know what happen behind the scenes and in their private times. What we can do is support and encourage them in their work. Toxic ppl need to live their own lives instead of trying to live others'. I watched the video before knowing that they might be sulking/arguing with each other offset, and I found them to be sweet as usual (there are less skinship but I thought it is the product team request for it). I won't know the issue if it isn't included in the video. For me, this is just like back in Shopee event (where MG dressed each other up). I watched it, found them sweet and funny but didn't know that MG had some issue (since I am not that active yet in twitter & insta, just a lil bit off when I saw M's choice over G's costume are a lil bit on the over teasing side since he usually choose comfort for G, but still fun). And when I found out about the issue, they already settle the issue themselves. Like what the heck is toxic fans 'claims'? Unprofessional? One dragging the other one down? Please. Whatever their relationship are, if you believe they are together, then you can't expect all rainbows and glitters. They have been like this for about 2 weeks now. As fans we don’t know what happens behind the scenes. And if they had a argument or some other type of issue, THEY ARE HUMAN!!!! I can’t stress this enough. They are not robots meant to be happy all the time with no other emotions other then joy. They are humans, they have good days they have bad days they have ups and downs just like anyone would. Mew and gulf have talked about arguing before( they said it’s rare but still happens). And if something big did happen(hypothetically speaking), they are grown adult men. They both know what’s best for them and what will help. Knowing what we do about them, this will most likely pass. Mew has been getting a lot more hate and has been sick, Gulf has been extremely overworked and stressed, AND that rumor that they have been dating blew up(which can cause awkwardness and tension). so it’s expected that they are both going through some sh*t right now. When everything set talks down and they still seem distant and awkward then we can observe if something seems wrong or not. But for right now I don’t think this would be an accurate depiction.

Reading the comments on this, it doesn't seem like Mew became unprofessional at all. Not because you're the top spender fan you can just DEMAND from celebrities. He actually was very professional, refusing the SUDDEN "script" change because that truly will not look natural or proper especially when he and Gulf already prepared beforehand. The Just Drink event was one of the hardest to watch, especially as MG had not been seen together for a long time...a few days...enough to get the fandom on edge. This event followed the BoyFriend concert where the viral talk was about Mew's "BRO" caption on IGS. Everyone assumed that it made Gulf angsty. The fandom went into meltdown after Mew called out an account for its toxicity. Thai fans, especially those attending the event, were confused about the talk of sulking for they saw none of that. Many pointed out that Mew hardly glanced at Gulf, and Gulf was unusually acting on edge as well, but the Thai fans didn't see that as well. What were the interfans seeing that the Thai fans were unaware of?
Let's take a moment to step back and really see what happened. This is all based on what was revealed on Twitter and IG several hours after the live.
Before the Just Drink, Mew had received word that some toxic fans that hated him, posted personal information over at Weibo. The targeted individuals were his younger sister, Touch (one of MSS managers), and other staff members. Addresses, phone numbers, and other information were blasted over the internet. It was a security breach that could put anyone in a bad mood, especially as Mew had no time to attend to it because the Live was up in a few minutes.
Thai government had released a statement that several public events were cancelled due to the rise of COVID19 cases. Talks were rife about another lockdown. Any lockdown could threaten Mew's plans for 2021, especially as he had already paid for the venue of his upcoming concert.
The next complication, was the script handed to both MG. The live was heavily scripted and those at the event say that Gulf was frowning at the amount of stuff he had to study mere minutes before going on air. The instructions included NO INTIMACY and NO FAN SERVICE. Meaning, they were not supposed to act like the MG we are all familiar with. They also could not touch each other - see the pillows on their laps.
MG did their best, but as the live went on, an unexpected change in instructions was given. The comments on FB (maybe) made Just Drink producers aware that the fans were not happy so they requested a quick change and said to increase the fan service. As witnesses at the event stated on Twitter, that didn't sit well with either MG. Gulf kept quiet as is his usual, but Mew absolutely refused to do the fan service and was quite vocal about it. This is not a surprise, as the fandom knows that neither MG do it at all. Also, changing instrucions in the middle of an ongoing live is not the way to be on the good graces of professionals like MG.
What made matters worse was the top spender who threw shade at Mew for refusing to do fan service. It is assumed that the top spender was at the event. The added tension at the live only worsened when many soon became aware the top spender called Mew unprofessional for not doing what she requested, to do more fan service. Note that Mew and Gulf personally knew this top spender.
The tension we all saw was not because Mew and Gulf were sulking at each other, in fact, it had nothing to do with the BRO comment at all. We now know the BRO was related to the Boyfriend project.
Everyone attending the event came on twitter and posted clips of a very interactive and sweet MewGulf behind the scenes. What we saw at the live where there was absolutely none, was because they were instructed not to do the sweet moments, or say anything that may betray their relationship.
Truth is, Mew and Gulf are very strong as a couple, it is just the circumstances that made it seem like they were having trouble.
Trust in MG. Trust that their love is real. MGPFG

I don't think Mew was late. And he was never unprofessional. The issue is some stans bashed him for not being too clingy/touchy to Gulfie. I think they were just sulking a little bit, yes, and I could be wrong. I wasn't there so I can only assume. But being too clingy is a NO-NO since they have to follow certain social distancing measures as of the moment.
So yes, some stans really have to loosen up.
As Mew said, he will act according to what he wants. He will be himself. He will not do it because others want/expect/tell him to. That's our CEO right there. And geezzz... he loves Gulf too much. Skinship (on camera) does not determine the weight of his/their love. ❤️👏👏
This is so fun and diffrent. I went to see same live from Thai channel, the comments in Thai all saying that they are so sweet and without FC and MC, Gulf might have been kissed. Some noticed the less of skinship then realised that in Thailand is about to have another wave of Codid 19. For my point of view, they normally give less skinship in live that has top spender fans present. I am also on twitter and read all those comments myself including other Thai comments. Not offence, but what you suggested in this vid is similar to what that toxic fan needed. She wanted them to act more sweet, give more skipship. She felt like Mew didn’t love Gulf enough or not as sweet as usual. She and her friends did this for a period of time so that other fans knew how toxic they were. Bad news is they always be the top spender. If you think that Mew was sulking at Gulf and gave less affection on this vid, think again. From another person in this live said they were fine and sweet to each other as usual. However, this is my view again, if you were Mew and you have to be professional in front of pepole who have been insulting you for some long time, how much can you cope with the feeling. If there is anyting not normal in this vid I don’t think it comes from their relation but the toxic fans’ present in the live.

I will tell the true story that happened. She actually caused mew many times of problems. She mocked Mew. And have fun chatting with friends She followed Pee Mew everywhere. I think some Thai fan maybe don't really understand what COVID-19 is because Thailand wasn't really impacted until now. No offence I love Thai fan they are cute, nice, smart and everything. But in my country everythings is closed ( shop, restaurant, library, a lot of school and university, cinema, theatre...). When I go in street I have a special paper and I have to wear a mask all day at work and at home when my familly come to say hello. All the church are closed. Fans don't own their favourite 'bias' regardless of how much they spend to support them. We are all human, we have feelings and moods and problems. Nobody is perfect and it is unfair to project and impose your views/thoughts/feeling on others. We do not live their lives, we don't walk in their shoes. We do not know what happen behind the scenes and in their private times. What we can do is support and encourage them in their work.

In the end, you have no idea what goes on behind the scenes when they aren't filming, and you honestly have no right to know either. They are actors paid to act and do promotional work. If there is something more between them outside of those work obligations, that is between them! I watched the video before knowing that they might be sulking/arguing with each other offset, and I found them to be sweet as usual (there are less skinship but I thought it is the product team request for it). I won't know the issue if it isn't included in the video. For me, this is just like back in Shopee event (where MG dressed each other up). I watched it, found them sweet and funny but didn't know that MG had some issue (since I am not that active yet in twitter & insta, just a lil bit off when I saw M's choice over G's costume are a lil bit on the over teasing side since he usually choose comfort for G, but still fun). And when I found out about the issue, they already settle the issue themselves. Like what the heck is toxic fans 'claims'? Unprofessional? One dragging the other one down? Please. Really. Finally got to see another vid of MG event together and the issue just had to jump in between -m-. Grow up toxic lovers, stop being the third uninvited party in their relationship. And stop doing shading thingy. It affected both, Mew AND Gulf.
For me, I honestly felt something different especially when Mew walked in to start the live... all I can say is that I know whatever it is , they will work it out. They have been like this for about 2 weeks now. As fans we don’t know what happens behind the scenes. And if they had a argument or some other type of issue, THEY ARE HUMAN!!!! I can’t stress this enough. They are not robots meant to be happy all the time with no other emotions other then joy. They are humans, they have good days they have bad days they have ups and downs just like anyone would. Mew and gulf have talked about arguing before( they said it’s rare but still happens). And if something big did happen(hypothetically speaking), they are grown adult men. They both know what’s best for them and what will help. Knowing what we do about them, this will most likely pass. Mew has been getting a lot more hate and has been sick, Gulf has been extremely overworked and stressed, AND that rumor that they have been dating blew up(which can cause awkwardness and tension). so it’s expected that they are both going through some sh*t right now. When everything set talks down and they still seem distant and awkward then we can observe if something seems wrong or not. But for right now I don’t think this would be an accurate depiction.

I support them as best I can from so far away (UK) and don’t get to see too much that goes on sadly. Reading the comments on this, it doesn't seem like Mew became unprofessional at all. Not because you're the top spender fan you can just DEMAND from celebrities. He actually was very professional, refusing the SUDDEN "script" change because that truly will not look natural or proper especially when he and Gulf already prepared beforehand. That was just an unreasonable demand from a "fan" who thinks she is entitled to these INDIVIDUALS. Mew and Gulf are still humans after all and fans should be the most understanding and supportive of the celebrities that they are fans of.
