It's exactly the same as the 40th anniversary R2D2. It's also difficult to find one that is well painted. The one in the video, for example, has a badly painted rectangle next to the eye. One part is silver and unpainted. Unfortunately I had one like that. Or one with silver paint on the blue part of the leg. I had to order 5 times until it was good. Just don't forget it's still mass production.

well, I'm quite happy with my bandai model kit, so I will most likely be passing this off to a buddy...

You CAN store the accessories inside those slots when you pull his head up/open! I just learned that myself! You can also pull out the blue panels in the front like the sh figuarts, it’s tough without a tool or your fingernails. Great video!
oh awesome! yeah, I kinda figured that out too after filming this review... but I was afraid one of the accessories might get stuck in between the gaps and jam the figure or worse, break since the plastic is sooo thin on the accessories...
but sadly, I no longer have this figure... I passed it on to a buddy who badly needed one...
The third leg does pop out if you have his head down and you turn his head stage left so to his right it will actually make the leg as long as the third foot is flat inside the body it will pop down

although I've tried doing that several time and in opposite directions as well but to no avail... i think I got a defective copy... as per usual with my bad luck with hasbro products... LOL
It would have been great if we could store inside R2D2 the accesories or the panels when not in use.

It's a nice one. Bought one years ago for 30cad; came with tools behind the panels; don't remember the version but was like this one. The small ones that had sounds were amazing; hoping to see an epic version that comes with integrated tools, third wheel, mobile dome, and sounds. They can do it. But I don't remember seeing a 3.75 inch batman figure that had most of the batequipment...
