かなすわの勝手なイメージだけど、
神奈子様は神様の中でも若手中の若手かつ元人間説ある(神霊だからね)から、遠くから見れば尊大で畏敬の対象だけど近づいたり話したりしたら案外そんなことない神様。
諏訪子様は遠くから見ればちっちゃいケロちゃんでマスコットだけど、いざ近づいてみると人の形をした『ナニカ』感が強すぎて身動きひとつ取れなくなる神様。

But we all know that the only goddess who should be worshipping is Stack right about now.
It's more about their decision to move to Gensokyo and the fact that they're... dying [due to lack of faith]. Goodbye Utusushiyo; Hello Gensou; All or nothing. Sink or swim. kinda dont see the dying part liek the other user said but i do think it tries to show that they want to show themselves at omnipotend gods to bette rnot meddle with while also promoting their shrine. like.. "hey we are the gods of this shrine, but beware dont mess with us" thats what i got. so of course they have a scary side~

A note on some of the untranslated words in the subtitles:
Utsushiyo: The manifest, transient world of humanity, as opposed to the land of the dead or the heaven where the gods dwell.
Gensou: Illusion, but more specifically dream or fantasy. As seen in Gensokyo, the land of fantasy.
Manusya: a Hindi word derived from sanskrit, used to refer to man, in both the human or male sense, depending on context. The name comes from Manu, who is said in Hindu belief to be the progenitor of all humanity, after the great flood. The Sanskrit word can also refer to things that are related to or similar to humans, such as animals with human intelligence.
Kenkon itteki: a Japanese phrase meaning to go all in, stake everything on something, to go in all or nothing, as seen elsewhere in the song.

Very nice! On Kenkon itteki: Ken and kon (乾 and 坤) are also what the two goddesses claim that they have control over from... I believe Symposium of Post-Mysticism.
They together mean Yin and Yang, or Heaven and Earth, in Chinese mysticism such as Taoism and I Ching.
But basically the title also is a direct reference to Kanako and Suwako.
(Note that Akyuu noted those "ability to the extend of" are self-proclaimed)

I love how despite the song being kanako and suwako advertising their shrine, it has real heart behind it. The "all or nothing" vibe is a very real depiction of how Kanako must have felt before coming to Gensokyo. Her shrine forgotten, Suwako already kinda resigned in life, and she herself dying due to the lack of faith. That's what I think she refers to the unpaid debt, she used to be a goddess of agriculture, providing good weather conditions, and when the humans advanced past in society they just forgot about her and Suwako.
And then the "Good bye Utsushiyo, Hello Gensou, Sink or Swim" summing up their breaking into gensokyo. Kanako knew it was a one way trip, no chance of return, and no promises of Gensokyo being any more easy for gods to gather up faith. But between that or slowly dying by lack of faith, she really was in a sink or swim, and her hail mary plan actually ended up working.
I really love kanako and this arrangment really makes justice to everything she is, a proud goddess that unapologetically promotes herself and her religion, and a survivor who really went through a lot shit but after risking everything managed to save herself and her family.
"That's what I think she refers to the unpaid debt." Remember, it's Suwako singing about the unpaid debt, not Kanako (You can tell because she's the one in the background, and it ends on a ribbit).
Suwako's an old Land God, far predating Kanako and the Great Suwa War. She remembers when humans needed faith, not just to tell them how to live their lives, but to define the world around them. Despite her childish appearance, she's from a time when tribes huddled in the dark and prayed to anything and everything that frightened or awed them. The faith and prayer from that time, that need to venerate the very earth was what would lead to Suwako's birth as a god in the first place.
And, again, this is the second time Suwako's been abandoned by the humans that claim to have faith in her (the first being her loss to Kanako in the Great Suwa War). She's saying she bears a deep resentment for being brought into being, then abandoned, then begged to return, then abandoned a second time. Ribbit.

@@blockeontheleafeon i wouldnt say as much, in most works and all, its rather shown that Suwako is both a competiive God and a good sport when losing, even when beaten by Kanako, she accepted her defeat gracesfully and was okay with being forgotten as it meant civilization progress, the one thing she cares more of is rather Sanae since she is a descendant of hers and wants the best for her

You gotta wonder how Suwako; Kanako and Sanae even found out about Gensokyo from the Outside. They *literally broke in* [probobly with Sanae's miracle power; she'd probobly been saving what faith she had for a while]; shrine and all after all. They didn't come in normally.
Also this song is surprising dark in places. All or nothing. Sink or Swim. Before the earth splits apart and the winds come to a standstill. You gotta recall that Kanako and Suwako going to Gensokyo was a hail mary for those two. They were *dying* due to a lack of faith. Suwako wasn't that bothered and kinda accepted it but Kanako did not.

I assumed Gensokyo was somewhere on Suwa land, Suwako always knew about it, they moved only recently because faith level decreased during post-industrial era.

1:12 is probably the rawest section of any Akatsuki Records song, and possibly any Touhou remix, I've ever heard. This song really sums up Kanako's motivations to move into Gensokyo. Real world already giving up their faith to Gods, not many people visiting their shrines like before, and they're slowly dying because lack of faith. So Kanako try to "put all in/Kenton itteki" by removing/replacing Moriya Shrine and everything related to it from everyone memory in real life and move to Gensokyo. Yeah it's hard, the chances that Gensokyo gave aren't much promising, and most of all Sanae must giving up her friends and life in real world also. But between sinking and dying because lack of faith, and swim to the new territory but leave everything behind, looks like the trio choose the latter
Akatsuki Records always delivers the best songs especially touhou ones.

I haven't been a fan of Akatsuki Records for very long yet. Been around for a long time, Touhou fan since 2008, but I took a long break from the franchise in 2012 after graduating, so I stopped looking into new stuff of it for a bit more than a decade (in hindsight I'm kicking myself over that decision, because I could have discovered Akatsuki Records so much earlier if I hadn't done that). But yeah, long story short, this is the first time since discovering them that I'm seeing a new PV drop, and if that's how it feels every time (really exciting, basically), then I'm looking forward to many more moments like that, haha. Hope there'll be banger after banger from Stack.

For those who dont know manusya have same meaning as manusia in malay its mean "human" (manusya just sanskrit meaning same like manusia)
every Sanskrit-based language like Indonesian also has "manusya" as "human" but altered to fit with the language spelling
