Noticed this song focuses alot more on how smooth Stack can make their voice. Cool, not used to that, but it was a real heads-up moment.

@@seliph Likely just because it is unknown. Do keep in mind that Japanese does not really have pronouns - the way gendered speech works here is entirely different. Japanese relies on setting context, so one might refer to someone with (in literal sense) "That girl"/(name). After that, any discussion about said person is identical no matter the gender.
... There are of course non-binary and trans Japanese people, but generally Japan is a little bit behind on all this. I've seen some Japanese artists who spoke English clarify their pronouns, but it was more for the sake of the community than themselves. It's hard to explain.

I got curious and went looking for it myself, so I just wanted to add a bit of information for anyone snooping the comments for answers. The hook lines "maha-acintya" (Sanskrit?) and "maka-fukashigi" (Japanese text 魔訶不可思議) appear to reference a concept from Buddhism (which is a really common theme in lyrics written by Stack). I'm not qualified to discuss Buddhism, but the concept being described are something along the lines of "A great, inconceivable power / great mystery". The languages are all different, but ultimately it looks like every single language that inherited words for these concepts imported the words from their roots in Sanskrit.

@@CarlM Keep going in the touhou rabbit hole. There's so much more! Though Akatsuki records are amongst the best. I recommend you check out Shibayan, probably most well known for their touhou bossa nova and Tiny Little Adiantum, though I prefer their electro like Fall in the Dark.
Other favorite Touhou groups of mine include: Alstroemeria records, SOUND HOLIC, IOSYS, demetori, Yonder Voice, diao ye zong, and more. There are so many gems.

Yeah, this is kind of a thing with most of their songs. I Start listening to a new song by these guys, thinking it's decent but nothing special, and then, before I realise it, I've been looping the song for like 3 hours.
I just listened to it blindly first, then once again with Subtitles. After the 2nd Go I already couldn't stop boppin'. Stack Songs are just Magic in that Regard. I didn't even think Hello Hell was good when I first heard it, but then it got stuck in my Head and after a few more Tries it started rocking as well. I don't know how they do it...
