I was wondering why Starbucks doesn't do this in the US, considering how insanely popular they would be. But then I realized people would cause literal crowd crush/stampede situations to get these... the Stanley tumbler Karens would be pulling up to Starbucks with a loaded gun screaming "I'M GETTING THAT BAG!!!" 😂
It's a Japanese thing for companies to collab as much as they can with other industries. That's just a theory, the western companies do cross-industry collabs (e.g. pokemon cereal collabs), but never to the same extent as the Japanese or as much. US companies regularly do collabs even with the knowledge of the stampede culture. I'm pretty sure they do like stampede culture regardless of people safety as it gets them free publicity.

That lil pouch is usually called a coin pouch so one use could be for coins/tokens, but other uses could be for candy/gum, earbuds (wired or wireless), or any other small things. Hope this helped answer your question 😅
