Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you. I was using Quad Lock for years before I switched to the Peak Design case. While Quad Lock was super stable on the bike, I didn't like it as an everyday carry because of the bump on the back. I have had no issues with the secureness of the Peak Design case on my bike (daily commuting, longer weekend rides), and it's so much nicer for everyday use in my opinion.
Interesting bell placement. I have the same bell, but on the top of the handle. I’ll try to move it if doesn’t interfere with the brake handle.
I placed it there because I can easily ring the bell if my hands are on top or in the dropped position. Thanks for watching!

This is the original version. I believe the main (or only) difference with the V2 is that it can accommodate more handlebar sizes.

Got it. Looking at the website, the V2 looks identical to what I have far as I can tell. Either way, I love mine -- zero complaints.
