    I have the same gun with the Advantage woodland camo. Ive had it about 7-8 years now. I 'down graded' from some fancy clay guns to this one, and just as you said, it shoots everything. Great gun, shoots any shell Ive fed it but I reload my shells to mimic WIncherster AA super sporting clay loads. It has been one great shotgun and none of the stuff the interwebs cried about ever happened. The camo didnt flake off, the barrel didnt split, the chokes didnt stick....I think that was all the people upset about buying a $2000 shotgun and having buyers remorse.

      You got a good one. I have one too and it's the most trouble free auto I've ever owned. I've had: Browning Auto 5 & Gold, Remington 11-48, 1100, 11-87 etc. The M2000 is light and works every time. I put a better pad on it and changed the pitch a little but that's all. Love it. BOUGHT IT USED FOR 250! It is essentially a Benelli M1 made in Turkey

    I've had one for over 10 years now and it works great. Geese, dove, and skeet. Real smooth.

    My 2000 runs great. It shoots any kind of ammo (and any size) I’ve ever used, and I buy cheap because all I shoot is clays and targets. Has never, ever jammed or broken, and the recoil is not bad. Love it!

    I own the M2000 and M3000. I dont understand why people hate on them so much?? Excellent shotguns and for the price, you can beat them up with no shame… i have used mine as a paddle and a crutch as well.

    I love my 2000, this is my second one. I sold the first when I was short on cash and regretted it immensely. I replaced it as soon as I could and this one has also ran flawlessly all these years. When it comes to guns, most people don't have any experience with them before they're willing to regurgitate the same things they read online about them.

      I loved my 2000 and used it for 10+ years, but I definitely had issues with it. These guns are 100% known for having ejection & cycling issues. While for the price the 2000 was at when it was knew it was amazing and best bang for the buck, but I decided to upgrade to an SX4 2 years ago and will never look back. The ejection/cycling issue has seemed to still carry over into the 3000 and 3500 as well which kind of sucks cause I loved my ol Stoeger. I do agree that a lot of people who shoot guns especially hunters don’t know much about the actual guns themselves though. Everyone definitely has mixed reviews on everything, but even the 3 different gunsmiths I took my gun too when I had issues with it all said the same exact thing. That the Semi auto stoegers are known for cycling issues and really the only way to help prevent it is too run these guns super oily.

    I know why it's hated... they recoil hard (compared to a gas gun) can have cycling issues just depends on the individual sample... and in my particular case the barrel extension where the bolt locks into the barrel assembly broke. NOW prior to that moment it cycled everything I fed it from the (previously) $20/100 winchester universals to duck loads. Shot a few hundred shells per week all through college. I replaced a few extractors along that period with a benelli m2 extractors otherwise just cleaned it weekly and it kept going. Benelli/stoeger also warranty repaired the barrel extension... so I have no complaints but I do understand those who buy a gun and run out to the clay field and get disappointed... if even 10% of these guns do that I completely understand why it's hated. Glad you like yours. I like mine as well but for what it's worth my m2000 now sits in the safe 95% of the time... perfectly functional.... but i now favor a beretta a400...

    I have an m2000 myself, no issues with 3", but low recoil or 2 3/4 do not cycle. This is my primary hunting shotgun and I am pleased.

      Try replacing your O-rings they may be bent. Have the same gun with a wood stock, all low brass i've shot cycled flawlessly besides some Remington "Gun Club" target loads that had issues at first but ran flawlessly after a quick tear down and clean(considering I just bought it and shot it dirty pretty happy with these results from this $300 beaut. )

    I love mine!!! I've found that if you shoot the higher velocity (anything 1280 or higher) ammo it never jams even the cheap stuff.

      @goonytyphoon7088 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Randy Saylor that explains why it would eject but the new shell wouldn’t load back in I was using Rios at first never jammed (1350) then I switched to hurters and they shoot at (1250) every 5-10 shots I would have to manually remove it

    I have hunted with mine for over 10 years, killed many squirrels and a few deer, even some hogs with it... wouldn't trade it for any other shotgun. It's also been 100% reliable while hunting.

      I just recently bought a new shotgun before this season due to the gun not cycling the 2nd shell, but I have been using it for about 10 years so I can't complain.

    I love my M2000 same as yours.. The one problem I've ever had is the bolt charge handle broke about 5 seasons back. I just leave the broke round piece in you can cycle it with a stick. I've hammered few thousand 3" mag waterfowl rounds. Fires every trigger pull. I've never had any rounds jam.

    Love mine too....i found you just need to shoot at least 1 1/8 charge or bigger....no low brass....also dont like that I actually have to make four movements to switch a shell out say if geese are coming and need to get a duck load out but not a deal breaker for me....my buddy has a win a2 and only takes one movement to switch a shell

    • @RacksWingsOutdoors
      @RacksWingsOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree 100%, the A2 is an amazing gun, but they are pricey! Still want to get a new gun though. Been looking at the SX4.

    • @utubewatcher1201
      @utubewatcher1201 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you are correct John. 1 1/8 or larger and it will chew up any shell you put in it. I’ve taken my all black M2000 with a 28” long barrel hunting for duck in 10 degree wet weather, dove hunting, and turkey hunting with successful results for both reliability and lethality. I’ll probably hold onto it longer now that I hear they’re discontinued.

    I have the same gun man I will give you little hint on making that gun shoot what ever ammo you want get you some steel wool man and polish the hell out of that barrel man and you will see tramendous increase in titer patterns and more pellets in the area you aiming at and better function steel wool the barrel use 00 steel wool then go to 000 wool and the last is 0000 quadruple and you will be amazed it will be as good as a banelli
