Technically he is advocating a mixture of Amillenialism( not a literal 1000 yrs) and Postmillenialism(optimistic hope in the completion of the great commission). And it is very compelling and probably the closest to the true interpretation of Revelations
Every post millennialist agrees it is not a literal 1000 years. The difference is usually amillennialists look at revelation as ongoing and cyclical, while postmillenialism typically looks at it as already happened.
It all happened in 70AD. The only part of Revelation that is future is Satan's final rebellion, Jesus return and the final resurrection/judgement. The 1,000 years is the current era of the Holy Spirit advancing the reign of Christ and his kingdom on earth.
Some believe the trumpet judgements were for the harlot { Jerusalem} in 70 ad and the bowl judgements parallels that but pertain to the woman in scarlet who also rides the beast { of Rome } who's deadly wound has healed and is judged at the end..for Satan after been found no more in heaven { to accuse } has turned his attention to the woman's offspring { the saints } to devour them, but the Lord protects his people for a times, times and half a time , paralleling the 42 months under the trumpet judgements and ultimately defeats Satan after his little seasons and finally destroys him in the lake of fire...two similar events with the same outcome
I’m not following how we can assume through the text that 20 is the long term view. I also don’t understand how Satan could truly be bound with so many giving account of demons attacking.
I believe that chapter 20 is a sneak peak into the future after the destruction of Jerusalem. Satan was bound and thrown in the abyss for a thousand years, while the resurrected martyrs got to reign with Christ for a thousand years (with now immortal bodies). After the 1000 years Satan was released to deceive the nations and Yeshua retreated to Zion/New Jerusalem in the recesses of the north with the saints, since His reign only ends when He has put all His enemies under His feet (which is when He hands it over to the Father). I believe that we're currently living in the time of the little season of Satan's great deception. It will end when Satan goes to war against the camp of the saints and the beloved City (which has to exist in order to be able to be a target at all) and Yah will destroy His enemies with fire and throw death and Satan into the lake of fire. The way I understand it, is that chapter 20 is a description of the distant future while 21 and 22 return to the present. New Jerusalem came down at Yeshua's return as His bride (after all the believers had been "raptured" into the clouds to meet their King and He had destroyed/judged the earth with fire).

Indeed. It's rather petty despite being correct. Generally done by grumpy people.

I’m so convinced with these teachings. Makes so much sense.
Thank you for making this. Makes so much more sense to the theme of the Bible.
Thank you so much for this. God bless you richly: all those involved.
I was so impressed with these talks that I bought his new "yet to be released" book: The Divorce of Israel. This will be a commentary on Revelation.
