@@chrissybabe8568 oh cool! yea it goes for a fair way then you hit the hut then after the hut the road ends a little way further. I never saw any keas unfortunately just herd possums on the hut at night lol

On maps find tarras follow state highway 8 north though lindis pass you'll see ahuriri valley its the 1st valley and road on the left

Been there a couple of times in the summer that looks interesting doing it in the winter hmmm
Hi lesmond yea very cold overnight at the hut could see your breath all night had a good sleeping bag though haha

No not as of yet it is on my to do list though definitely along with McCauley valley and kinvara road
