    I wish you'd split the gauges/scales into different films. I'm not the slightest bit interested in N gauge and I am sure some of the N gauge people aren't interested in OO. I have ordered two PCVs. Love the choice of passengers in coaches. Please do that for locos and in particular steam locomotives with drivers/firemen etc or add a few £s to the price and include them in the box.

    Yet more Routemasters and more GWR. What we need in the NE is local buses, in my case 1950's to early 1960's Stockton and Middlesbrough Corp.
    Does anyone from Bachmann read these comments?

      Totally agree with you. I long for a "proper" blue Middlesbrough Corporation bus. Lledo did a single decker years ago...good livery but I never saw the Boro have a bus like that!

    Still nothing for years for the 00 Steam enthusiast...a 20 year old Hall class doesn't cut the mustard these days , when pretty much every other 4-6-0 GWR loco is newer (Manor class, anyone ?) , and cheaper, no doubt. When is Bachmann going to do a newtooled steam loco ?..I think the last one was the V2 about 3/4 yrs ago.....

      Fletcher 901 class ,,as preserved No 910 was described as the most beautiful loco, which made City of Truro, Jones Goods and Stirling Single look plain in comparison. ( by O.S.Nock). It also had a staring role in the 1875,1925 and 1975 Stockton & Darlington 50 yr anniversaries. Which makes it unique I think..also most likely to put in an appearance for 2025 , 200yr anniversary of the S&D....So Bachmann , make a Fletcher 901..one manufacturor will, and it will be as popular as Rapidos Stirling Single..( which only got to York from London...it was Fletchers 901 that got you to Edinburgh..😉

    The club thing isn't that great 10% off models big deal, you'd think it would be at least 20%. 10% for a $400 model after I've paid $78, I'd only maybe one model a year so the club doesn't really impress me to join. Still at least there is something.

    Need more Southern in N gauge please. DMU 3 car 205/207 Oxted/Hastings Thumpers in blue , blue/grey or even later South Eastern colours, still some sections of Southern region that aren't electrified. Maybe a Gatwick Express or Brighton mainline too, for more up to date layouts. I don't know how much call there is for Southern locos and carriages, but with currently a very limited range and older models hard to find pre-owned (4MT with tender), even if old tooling, would be nice. I don't mind basic Railroad spec either, if it keeps costs down, especially as my layout is analogue.
    I know it keeps production costs down to keep the same models, but vary the livery, however, it doesn't really help us with our layouts, especially if we want to do a more specific era/time period and region.

    Thanks, but why is it called Bachmann Europe, when it's all about UK trains and the UK is not part of the EU, also looking at your website the price for EU, trains are not any cheaper then what is in the EU, as a last note for EU, trains when being sent there is the added cost of postage and inport duty for which the cutomer pays on top of the your selling price. ???

    Unfortunately another round of announcements that have not wetted my appetite. From classes 08 to 91s, not counting steam, I have 155 of your fine examples. All bar one 66, Evening Star, a special and a few 57s, have sound. I was hoping to hear of the Class 20 appearing in Balfour Beatty livery to compliment on display my Barclay Hunslet pair. I did expect to see a BCC passenger coach, which was missing from the previous announcements. I have all your previous releases. Of interest are the four Toad vans to add to my current collection of 23 named areas.

    Man, it's difficult to make a Scottish model railway. And none of the manufacturers seem to be doing much to rectify it.
    One Caledonian locomotive from Bachmann in the 21st century. One NBR from Hornby. One Andrew Barclay in the Caledonian Railway livery. One Highland Railway loco from Accurascale.
    It's easy to model modern Scotrail stuff, but for someone like myself who prefers steam locomotives, this lack of Scottish steam feels like a massive oversight.

  • @modelrailfan37
    @modelrailfan37 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Okay, why on earth is a Class 08 £209? That’s more expensive than the upcoming Class 31 from you guys just as one example, kinda obvious where your getting more for your money there… correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that’s the most expensive 0-6-0 on the market. I know it will be a good model, but I was expecting the price to be more around £140-150. Count me out on this one, I’m more than happy with an older version if that’s how high the price is.
    While it’s nice to see another steam loco (the Hall) return, I seriously hope it has been upgraded. The level of detail on that model isn’t the best, the mechanism is really poor (doesn’t even have tender pickups and decoder socket is in the loco meaning in order to DCC fit the loco you need to remove a weight over the driving wheels!), and the loco doesn’t have very good torch ether… for £190 I really hope some upgrades have been made…
    Some of the rolling stock looks nice though and it seems that on the GWR stock the prices are quite reasonable which is nice to see! I’m also glad to see that the 121 is back as that is a nice model!

    • @modelrailfan37
      @modelrailfan37 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TrainsandPlanes123 the Hornby one is still way too expensive imo. These are just little shunters and yet they are priced the same as co-cos and some large tender engines… personally I’ll be looking for an old-tool used Bachmann one seeing as they are now no longer available new.

  • @modelrailfan37

    Hoping to see the GNSR V/F Class/ SECR G Class (all could be made from same tooling), Caledonian 439, Highland Ben Goods, LBSCR Remembrance Tank, and the return of the H1/H2 Atlantics, Midland 1P, LNER J72, S&DJR 7F, Quarry Hunslet, Baldwin 10-12-D, and Midland 4F (obviously I don’t expect all these in one announcement video, just giving multiple suggestions 😂)

    • @gppsoftware
      @gppsoftware หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      They can only be made from the same tooling if they have exactly the same axle spacings. The days of generic use of an '0-6-0 chassis' ended in the 1970's and isn't appropriate today.

    • @modelrailfan37
      @modelrailfan37 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@gppsoftware ya I know, they do (I think)! The SECR G Class in real life was a slightly altered version of the GNSR F Class in real life as an extra batch was built and sent to the SECR. I also think that if wheel spacing is off by just a mm it doesn’t matter, most people won’t notice that…

    • @gppsoftware
      @gppsoftware หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@modelrailfan37 Unfortunately, wheel spacing off by just a mm doesn't cut it any more. It relegates a model to the 'Railroad' category before it even starts!

    • @modelrailfan37
      @modelrailfan37 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@gppsoftware that’s just silly! Why do we need models to be exactly the same as the prototype? If it’s off by only 1mm then by using a different chassis the manufacturer would save so much on tooling! Not to mention that if we don’t get a G Class from use of a GNSR V/F Class tooling we will probably never get it in model form since it’s an obscure class and none were preserved, plus there is already another SECR 4-4-0 on the market. Most modellers won’t notice that issue, especially if the class is no longer around and hasn’t been for many years.

    • @EllieMaes-Grandad
      @EllieMaes-Grandad หลายเดือนก่อน +1
