February I want to start cash stuffing weekly and then slowly work towards my debt. I don't want to over do it because I'm a single parent, with a very low income. 2 Dogs, 2 cats, a sun conure (bird), 2 snakes, gecko, and a hamster. Our pet budget is almost more than our grocery budget. I garden, I’m into canning, and we buy beef cows. I also buy in bulk and make all my noodles and bread from scratch. Since Covid we’ve stopped eating out as much, so I cook every night after work. I love that I found your channel. I’m trying to declutter so I can reorganize because I love doing that.

I just started budgeting with the cash envelope system for my personal spending and I have become SO hesitant to purchase anything because I don't want to give my cash away. Normally I would have spent everything by now, but it REALLY makes you think twice about spending your weekly budget.

This may make sense, or not! My goal this year… Challenge myself to use our money wisely, respectful that I have a husband who dedicates himself, no matter what, to provide a comfortable living for us. After Hurricane Micheal in 2018, we have so many reasons to have a buffer or emergency fund, a little savings come and then you need new tires, a pipe bursts, your child gets sick. We all struggle to “make ends meet” “stretch a dollar”, I just feel that if I challenge myself, to use money wisely, saving money will come next naturally. Dave Ramsey said if we don’t use self control then we will save save save, for a while, then our tendency to blow it all is greater than the will to save it!! I want that change!
I LOVE Dave Ramsey! His method is the reason I started cash stuffing in the first place. And you are so right, being intentional is the first step in getting control! You got this! 🎉

We were out of credit card debt recently and doing very well until our garage started to cave in from the hillside behind it and now between home equity loans and credit cards and a new garage. I want to get back on track again so I got planners this time instead of just trying to keep everything inside of my head. I'm going to have it written down so hubby can understand what I'm doing

I will Starr my cash budgeting journey at the end of this month. My goal is to have an emergency fund for 6 months of income/expenses in case of an emergency. My finance was in an car accident in July and just returned to work last week after 3 seperate surgeries. The other party only had limited insurance. Not even enough to cover the medical bills. We are trying to get back on track financially

I noticed when I switched from just budgeting to budgeting AND cash stuffing, it gave me a clearer sense of how much money we really had! I rarely check my bank account anymore because I have the cash. It's so freeing! Proud of you!
