I feel like the portrayal in the story showed that Hashirama and Madara were the strongest on their respective clans even at a young age, Madara's father even asked him when he was young if they could defeat the senju brothers and their father, which he honestly replied that hashirama was just on another level. Izuna somehow had to be strong, to awaken MS and to fight Tobirama on an equal Plainfield, and was only able to fatal wounding him when he got distracted

Someone can be less talented yet more proficient at an ability than you because they have practiced much longer than you. Being the most gifted doesn’t mean you’re the strongest. It just means you level up easier and therefore more quickly. If level 99 is the strongest an Uchiha can get, Madara would reach level 70 by age 20 while the more talented Hikaku would reach level 70 by age 17. At this rate Madara would reach level 99 by 28 years of age while Hikaku would do it by 24. In this scenario, if Madara is at least 4 years older than Hikaku, then he would never be surpassed by Hikaku. Also being an Indra reincarnate means that he has a higher natural ceiling. His level cap would be perhaps 120, which he could reach by age 33.
Madara wasn’t 4 years older though. Only 1 year older. Moreover, while you’re right that talent doesn’t mean skill. You can’t really quantify skill and talent in a verse like naruto. Too many circumstantial variables to take into consideration.

well,, i think that both eyes worked a little differently itachi's crow for example had the stronger only-every-10-years kotoamatsukami and danzo having the weaker more accessible version with a lot less downtime hence why it's so easy to notice and dispell it

I’m sorry but I don’t think the uzumaki clan was a mercenary clan for hire like the senju and uchiha clan. The uzumaki clan had their own island and a country, as far as we know they were self governing. there were zero need for them to be playing mercenaries. When tobi explain to sasuke about the warring states era, the uzumaki clan’s banner isn’t there. We later see in kushina’s flashback, konoha shinobi(maybe just senju) creating an alliance with the uzumaki clan but hashirama and the rest were wearing the konoha headbands not the usual senju, meaning konoha was already created. Another thing, we are told that the uzumaki clan came to be quickly feared then attacked and destroyed. That happened when kushina was young. If they were fighting back in the warring states era, why would they be quickly feared decades later in the time after the 2nd great ninja war? Why didn’t the uzumaki and senju form an alliance against the uchiha like how the uchiha would ally themselves with the hagoromo clan?

Hikaku is not talented but the better choice of word is prodigy, similar to itachi and many other and Itachi being an obvious example, even at such a young age they've already mastered advanced techniques which is an innate thing you know like something you are good at but don't remember how you're just good at it from the beginning, and with that comes talent is when someone is doing something specific like skills over time until you master it, talent and skill is basically the same thing.. imo the main difference between hikaku and madara is plain simple, madara is a main villain with wider scope of lore and plot, first being in the main uchiha family branch the leads the whole clan so it's no surprise why he's stronger for plot, also growing up and trained alongside the future god of Shinobi a.k.a hashirama, which is the best sparring partner that you can ask for, and of course he's Indra's reincarnation so there goes that main villain starter pack

It usually does for the Uchiha. Itachi, Sasuke, and Madara were all referred to as talented members of the Uchiha, and they're among the strongest characters in the show.

I’m sorry but I don’t think the uzumaki clan was a mercenary clan for hire like the senju and uchiha clan. The uzumaki clan had their own island and a country, as far as we know they were self governing. there were zero need for them to be playing mercenaries. When tobi explain to sasuke about the warring states era, the uzumaki clan’s banner isn’t there. We later see in kushina’s flashback, konoha shinobi(maybe just senju) creating an alliance with the uzumaki clan but hashirama and the rest were wearing the konoha headbands not the usual senju, meaning konoha was already created. Another thing, we are told that the uzumaki clan came to be quickly feared then attacked and destroyed. That happened when kushina was young. If they were fighting back in the warring states era, why would they be quickly feared decades later in the time after the 2nd great ninja war? Why didn’t the uzumaki and senju form an alliance against the uchiha like how the uchiha would ally themselves with the hagoromo clan?
