Many thanks for your feedback. Yeah you are right. The problem is we don't want the camera following just one lonely marble way out front because that's not fun to watch. I am trying to find ways to bunch them without stopping the frontrunners. :)
@@moreballsI think you should let the front runners go. If one marble happens to get way in the lead, than that’s just the marble that’s going to win. More than likely there won’t just be one marble out front. Having the actual competition is part of the fun 😊

Many thanks! I made the graphic with Affinity Designer, exported to PNG (to preserve transparency), inserted into the timeline in Blender Video Editor and then applied the movement/fade there. :)

You're right. I thought about changing that section, but it is interesting and different so I decided to keep it in, even though it is not completely fair.
It did ok two championships back: th-cam.com/video/NPDOVV9WH6w/w-d-xo.html But yeah it looks like green isn't doing great overall. I'm curious to see the stats when we have hundreds of races, but right now the sample size is too small to get meaningful stats.

The merge point definitely favors the marbles on the left (White, black, cyan....)
