    I love how you managed to find the darkest spot in the house to film this. Thank you. It was like listening to the radio.

    I followed your instructions and fixed the scooter, thank you! Only tools needed were a vice grip for the first but and a flat head screwdriver for the second nut. I was done in 5 minutes. Too bad I wasted 30 minutes watching other peoples fix it videos that were too long and complex for the same problem

    Quick thank you for this video - Cameron Smith - my stem was extremely use and unsafe, followed your instructions and it worked like a charm. Saved me a ton of time. It's much tighter, not like new, but 90% there.

    I dont even care about the video quality, thanks a lot for the help. I'm having an issue removing the 4 screws that you mentioned in the beginning of the video. This was a big help, I'm going to have the get in there from the bottom 👍

      I did it, its rock solid now. Didn't bother talking out any screws, the flathead worked like a charm🙂👍

    Excellent video. Not a lot of light here as mentioned by others, but still, even without the video just being told what to do is enough. And not having to pull the top off saves a lot of time. Thanks! 👍

    To eliminate squeaky noise you need to take off front left plastic (with red reflection sticker ) and to tighten 2 screws there.

    thanks mucho. It's similar to a bicycle headset. The hidden nut tightens just enough to allow turning the handle but no play. The visible nut locks the hidden nut.

    Super helpful video! I used a pair of pliers to stabilize the deep screw, and then turned the wheel itself to tighten it (instead of trying to turn the screw with the pliers).

    If you tighten first nut too much, the second will rotate also overtigtening the steering bearings and making steering too tight. The first nut is a counter nut for the second one. To properly tighten first against second, you need to hold the second in place and tighten the first. And it’s impossible...

    What I am looking for is a video to improve the subject of the base of the skate to the battery bar, since after 500km the three screws give way to aluminum and I have loose the steering wheel of the base.

    That problem is fixed by tightening the shock absorber nut a little, checking once a week, its maintenance as handlebar bolts.

    You're nuts, those things you call screws are for adjusting the tension on the suspension spring. What you have to change is the plastic bushing, that will fix the loose stem, wobbles and steering play!

    • @cameronsmith941
      @cameronsmith941  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I believe I corrected myself to nut at one point. :) Apologies for the confusion there.
      This did solve the issue for me. Where is the plastic bushing you are referencing?

    • @mashedpotatoes5323
      @mashedpotatoes5323 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There is no adjustment for the front spring.....

    • @mashedpotatoes5323
      @mashedpotatoes5323 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So I took apart a few of my ninebots, as said in the original comment there is a plastic bushing that is in the suspension and the front fork. After a while the bushing wears out from the suspension traveling up and down rubbing on it and it causes a bunch of play. But there is no way to adjust the stiffness of the spring without adding washers so I'm not sure where you got that idea from......

    You need to tighten the nut on top, on the other side, inside that cover just above the two nuts you show there as well.

      Yes I am not sure how they put it on from the factory. I'm guessing there is a special tool for this.

      I agree, its really hard to move the nut. But I figured out a technique and posted a video: th-cam.com/video/j4xWyigiNkM/w-d-xo.html

    Who taught you to film something in front of a bright window!??? have the window behind you, and refilm it. As a result, it didn't actually focus on the headset.

    Dude, always put the light source BEHIND the camera, it will help with the focusing and overall clarity of the image. Very informative narration but unwatchable video.

      Thank you for the advice. This was really driving me knots. I even took it to two repair centres, all I got was stories and excuses all because of, they couldn't do it. Your description is so easy to follow and 110% accurate if you know what you are doing. Once again Thank You so much for the advise, I really appreciate it. ...... 🙏 ......
