- We just moved to California from Iowa, and Gemma wanted to send a special gift to her dad on his birthday. He is a big Beatles fan, so we recorded this on our way back from an out of town show, while stuck in traffic.

Very rarely have I liked covers more than an original, especially anything recorded by The Beatles. Amazingly, I just stumbled on to this beautiful piece 7 years later. Definitely one of my favorite covers of all time!

I loved my Saturday lunch time sessions at the Cavern as a 14/15/16 year old, listening to the Beatles doing cover versions, of artist back then and now their songs are probably the most covered in the World.

Yep , from the " white double album " . Believe it was the last song. Some say it was just a filler song
to complete the album, it was so short , only 1:48. It was one of my two favorite songs on the album
and wished it was longer , didn't have TH-cam then so I could loop it.

Beautiful. This was the first Beatles song I heard when I was 4 years old in 1969. My mother played this song for me and this song holds a special place in my heart. My Mother passed back in 2020 and it touched me that you dedicated this song to your Dad. God bless you 🙏

I sang this song at my friend's wedding, and had a nice recording of it on Myspace a million years ago; it's now lost and gone, but you guys are singing it in the same pitch I sang it; it's a nice memory and keep on doing Beatles covers! They're incomparable and your harmony and melody were so beautiful together! Rock on, all 3 of ya.

Well I’m commenting after 7 years but your cover was so good I think you deserve it. Gemma, you’ve got a nice little voice there. Very natural and soft tone. The other young lady had a good voice too and skilled harmony. Guitar player was excellent!

very very nicely done. beautiful harmony. and the guitar riffs kept up with the original. i used to sing this to my daughter at bedtime after her mother left our family. she's now in her 50s and i'm in my 70s. but i remember those old days very well.
