On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

Although I'm not sure which Plane I'd rather see him fly in that fight is a tough one, kinda leaning towards F-86 against The A-10 only bc we already kno A-10 is surprisingly good dogfighter, and so I think it would definitely be more of a challenge if he was in The Sabre!

Since the F35 is supposed to replace the A-10, it'd be cool to see it run this exact mission.
it'll need to run it 17 times to replicate the damage done here. While it's returning to rearm all the troops will have moved or 5 F-35s will be needed to replicate this

Seriously. How many planes are you proficient in flying? Seems like every time I see ya flying something you’re the king of the sky! (Not complaining just really impressed)
I’ll be honest I’m also sometimes impressed with my ability to remember the binds for aircraft. I think it’s just a repetition thing. If I don’t use a certain aircraft for a long time I forget how to use it and I have to refresh. Which doesn’t take long but you know it’s a process. I don’t think there is anything special going on there I would imagine most people are like this.
I've found it easier to maintain two aircraft in a constant level of usage, in my case the A-10 and F/A-18, and cycle a different aircraft from my stable in every week. It helps to make your keybinds close to one another, but isn't really possible in all modules. It really is just practice practice practice. Hours upon hours. You can't learn a DCS module in a day.
Conceptually is what helped me with multiple. Once I learnt one ac I learnt others fast

It’s impressive seeing so much damage being done by one A-10. The ordnance load out is outstanding
Also, depending on the CBU, dropping them at a high dive angle can create a doughnut effect which minimizes the submunitions in the center of the pattern.
We have A-10s out here at Hill AFB...Seeing them flying around so majestic like is a sight to see with the signature whistling engines...

I love the A-10 and am learning it. In the Army, I was a 13Foxtrot, Foward Observer. The A-10 was always my go to. Such a beautiful bird.

as a note with 9Ms you can SOI the HUD and TMS up short to set the seeker head to a bore site search mode. It can then lock on to things in front of you making it a lot easier to hit FOX2 shots.

I was thinking the same thing! I think helicopters have, in a way, the same advantages a WWII plane has against modern jet fighters.
@@gian0giorg Rotary wing aircraft are in an even worse situation than WWII fighters. The fighters can maneuver in kind with a modern jet to a point, helicopters cannot.

13:00 those "storage things" are called revetments. They are used to prevent direct fire and fragments from damaging what's within. You'll see revetments used in air bases.

As hind's pilot in DCS world I had closely the same issue with an A-10...fortunately for me I just turn back at the pretty much good moment... He just passed me 30 meters without spot me following the same heading to catch me on visual probably 😂😂😂.. I was so surprised that I push all the trohttle to gain speed and flew away from him... I spot an huge town close to my location where I stay hidden for around 20 min between all those huge building... I could heard A-10 engines over my head several time until he gave up 😂.. That was insane
Fun fact: During Operation Desert Storm, the A-10 achieved as many air victories as Tomcat and Strike Eagle combined.
Fun fact the A-10 also achieved the lowest number of armor kills compared to the F15E, F111, and F16
