    I like my Firman Tri-Fuel 9400 a lot, especially during the Texas freeze and assorted power outages. It runs on natural gas and connect it to my house power panel. I also have 2 no-name 300W power stations and 2 100W glass solar panels which I made into a suitcase.
    Update ... I now have (2) 666Wh and (4) 1408Wh power stations and (10) 100W panels. I can connect two 1408Wh power stations together using a CP3500 cable, charge each at the same time and use the AC outlet on one power station while power is coming from both power stations. It can also be connected to the inlet box (no 240V) to supply limited power to the house.

      @@BucksBe Trying to line up the plug with the inlet at night? Take a marker or white-out and make a line on the plug & socket to line up the two before you twist it. Keep battery charged. Install emergency lights that come on when power goes out. Install them where you set up the generator and at the panel. Have an extra spark plug.

    For a quick fix concerning the hand truck "lip", cut a small piece of plywood and place that first on the bottom lip. Then when you stack, the weight toward the wheels WILL keep the board flat and the units "bottoms" better supported.... Use the generator during the day for house loads and to charge the Pecron, then, just use the Pecron for overnight power.

    Perfect time for a test. It's almost like people that buy these buy them just wait for a power outage so we can feel like a king of the neighborhood when the power goes out 😂.

      After I bought my Pecron my wife gave me quite a bit of hell about the purchase and how we will never use it. Bad storm came through and the lights flickered and I perked up, my wife looked over rolled her eyes and was like OMG you hope the power goes out!

      @@dbrennan1523😂😂. Man I live in Southern California. We just had that tropical storm the so called "hurricane" as the media likes to call it. I prepped and got my survival gear (camping gear) ready. Pecrons other power stations, dc fridges etc. ready to go. My wife called me doomsday boy 😂

    Got the same setup, but with a Champion dual fuel 2500 inverter. In Florida, so the sun plays more to my advantage. Also have the ICECO JP40 freezer fridge.

    Thumbs up on video! Being prepared for power outages is a must. The only thing I would change, have two Pecron E2000LFP instead of one Pecron E2000LFP + extra battery. For generator, Quaker State 5W-40 Euro is a great oil. 5 quart jug is $23 at Walmart

      I agree that two Pecron E2000LFPs would be ideal if you need to power different parts of the house but the E2000 + EB3000s to combine into one centralized unit is hard to beat. That's up to 8k of battery power. For the price, that's hard to beat!! Thanks for the oil tip

    Nice set up! Glad it's working well. I have a similar set up. Exact same firman. Have a delta 2 ecoflow with spare battery. Lastly another firman 1600watt portable generator. Hoping it's enough for my needs in an outage...

    HAHA I really felt the part where you said you were loving it and the wife and kids were miserable. It is a rewarding feeling when you finally make use of things you put aside for emergency's. My wife always fusses over these type purchases but when emergencies hit she really appreciates it. It also hit home when you talked about the extension cords and how things are different when you actually implement your plan, I've experienced similar stuff when having to implement part of my plan and realizing I wanted to put something somewhere else, or run this longer than I planned due to the time of year (like a window unit).

    Pecron E2000 i only 75amphr and around 12volt / 2000 watthr , and is $1000. its best to get 2 or 3 4d or 8d semi batteries ( 90-145) amphr each ) ( found everywhere used scrap yrd ) so 2 or 3 is x90 =270- 300+ amphr ) , and also 2 solar panels, inverter cheap AND little 2kw generator , all way under $1000 . all bases covered for a grand

    5000 kilowatts? Dang, I gotta pick me up one of those 5-megawatt Pecron's! The charging that at 1100 watts is going to take about 200 days.

      Ha! I failed to mention it takes up the whole backyard 😂 That might have been a slight error on my part.

    @4:47 "This is about a 5,000 kilowatt system..." So 5 MEGAwatts. Got it. ;-)

    Thanks for sharing all this great information! I just picked up a Firman WHO3242 generator yesterday at COSTCO, and am glad to hear how happy you are with yours. Was the Pectron eb3000 the first large home battery you have purchased? You bought it at Harbor Freight? Any other battery options you looked at?

    • @BucksBe
      @BucksBe  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've really enjoyed using the WH03242 generator from Costco!! I purchased the Pecron E2000LFP and the expandable E3000 directly from the Pecron website. If you snoop around TH-cam, you can find some great promo deals but for the watt/hr vs price, you can't beat it!
