Nice! Would love some in-depth videos on the inner-workings of that thing. While I'm more of a solid-axle kind myself, the Giga Crusher is such a unique truck. For the longest time I didn't even think it had reverse!

Thanks for watching, thanks for the input as well, I’m happy there is interest for more GIGA content. I have a second one that needs motors and I’ve been collecting what I need to make it happen. There is no longer a conversion kit for these and I will be making some custom mounts. That’ll give me the opportunity to give an in depth look at this model. This second one will have some stronger motors, it’ll be interesting. These stock Kyosho motors on this one are really not that strong, they do run nice though.

Ed Rc i really looking forward to se how you do your conversion engine mounts. I want to have the posibility to have aftermarket engines in my giga to. I have been trying to look for pictures of the optional conversion kit, with no luck. I dont want to ruin the original set up,so i just wait for your solution in a future video.

Have you had any mechanical problems with this truck? I have the Ofna Titan and it has constant drive-line problems. What about the Giga Crusher?

Not yet, I can’t say I drive it enough to wear stuff out. I bought one that came with 2 racers edge surefire .32s and I never even tried to run it with them because I just knew I was going to blow the drivetrain up. I’m going to install a pair of Kyosho KE .25s in it and I still think it will be overpowered. The .26s that came in that truck originally are not powerful by today’s standards.

@@edrc1793 Thanks. Also, can you explain the reverse function on this truck? Does the truck have a working brake? I remember Kyosho had a nitro truck with the QRC reverse, but it had no brake function. It was the small Kyosho Wild Dodge Ram. I would think a truck as heavy as the Giga Crusher would need a brake.
