Thank you Sonic Youth.... I was totally feeling SY vibes when I saw this live version for the first time. Saw them in Edmonton in July 2024 and they were tight.
This recording was during their post punk revival period. I saw them play this live around 2017 or 2018, it wasn't as intense and raw, but more polished than this performance, in keeping with their current sound.

Amazing voice.. intro sounded like hot garbage.. but when the song actually started it was awesome.. they band looks so lost up there.. like they don’t know what to do or how to move.. they sound good really good.. but look so outta place on the stage

Metric is one of the coolest bands ever.
So glad I searched for a live version of this classic. The energy!! Great musicians and a great song.

Some of us prefer Metric when they were noisy. They’re still excellent, but this is tops.
