What is her backstory? Who is she? I’m obsessed. Mainly cause shes a red head and smoking hot. But I’m sure there are other reasons too. Haha😂

One of the things I love about Anya as a character (aside from how absolutely adorable she is!) is that her telepathy doesn't make her "instant genius" or anything XD it's nice to see an otherwise normal child who just happens to have telepathy (see: all the times she misunderstands what she mindreads) which feels pretty uncommon in general!
I soooo happy you loved it!! It is my favorite manga ever!!! Yor is my favorite, I love how strong and protective she is of anya, Lloyd and yuri! I love how she thinks she isn’t a good mom or role model but she is amazing at both and when she finally cooks something good anya and Lloyd are so shocked lol 😂 love it!!! I skipped the last 3 volumes as I didn’t want to be spoiled for 11-13 but just so happy you love it too!! 💙🖤🩷
This series is sooooo goood! So glad you read this series!! It makes me cry every episode / story. Anya is the only child I will ever love to my core. And Loid breaks me everytime; it's been a while since I've had such a massive crush on an anime character. But it was strange hearing "Yor" in English: I was confused when you said Yor instead of Yoru xD [1:17:00 personal note for self]
Also just downloaded shonen jump after seeing this as well as I've wanted to read one piece but didn't want to sell a kidney to buy all the physical copies and now I can start reading!

I think I really enjoyed the miscommunications when they were used as a vehicle for comedy, but when they were used to create drama I thought it was a lil annoying

Nightfall brought the volumes down for me too, 6 and 7 were letdowns but 8 brought it back. The series was so close to being perfection. I also dont like the volumes focusing more on the spy part, I like the balance.
Finally got around to finish the video! I think not liking either Fiona or Yuri is pretty common in the community. Though both got a bit more substance in the more recent chapters they appeared imo. A little note in respect to chapter 94: I don't think it was officially noted anywhere, but I'm almost 100% sure it was a kinda parody for Detective Conan (English title is Case Closed I think). It's a manga series running even longer than One Piece. In it is is surprisingly common for the main characters to be locked in with a group of people, when "suddenly" a murder happens. Latest chapter is 1125 I think. So if you ever plan to read something as long as One Piece again, this could be it! lol
The thing about Melinda is she does absolutely love Damien, just as much as any mother. But she HATES her husband. So the second Damien said "Don't tell Dad" she was furious. She couldn't decide whether she wanted to care for her son or she wanted to hate him for loving the awful man that is her husband. You can clearly see the change in her demeaner whenever Damien's dad is mentioned. And we learned in an earlier chapter from Loid that the couple are estranged. So something must have happened to make her hate her husband to this extent where it clouds everything else in her mind, even her love for her son.

We don't know if he believes her but the fact she is comfortable enough to tell him! You know how we got the past from the first war but we don't know what happened in the second war.
